I've had a few people ask about the process at the AMP and let me just say, I put the tip on the table before anything starts and it's always been golden. Just lay the $40-$60 down, and I've never had a negotiation. The girls know exactly WTF it means and act accordingly.

Also if there is any issue with LE for the AMP or even a provider, the cash is down and never connected to services. That's always how I play it.

Just my perspective.

"Most of the time" she knows the script of the visit. But your method really helps her out such as If she speaks zero english, of course there are the hand gestures. And your method really helps her out if she is new and is a little cautious seeing someone for the first time. They know as well as us what's been going on around here with stores closing. So laying the tip out takes all the guessing out especially for her and in turn probably relaxes her so she can also give a good massage if she has the skills. You really want both of you to be relaxed from the beginning to the end. Don't want to be playing cat and mouse for 50 minutes then feel like you are taking a chance the last 5 or 10 minutes. Laying the tip out is a good way to set the tone.

...haven't had much luck around here for AAMP.

If you go to JJ's List and search Durham you will find 4. At 53 you have to visit at least twice. I have had a dream on the first try but I smile and moan quietly. The other three I have no problems at all with dreaming, though find at 37 the girls can get pretty pushy on tips. You have to be firm with them. They will pout but still smile next time. I moved to Durham a few months ago and haven't had much luck around here for AAMP. I tried brightleaf and collective wellness for legit massage but they are always booked up and have shitty time available. When I lived near Worcester Mass I had a few AAMP's for legit massage or extra. Here I just want a place to go see after work without having to make appointments weeks ahead. Very discouraging. Thank you to everyone keeping JJ's list up to date. I like using that and updating it to see if I can finally find one. Question though. I lost my bookmark to the "decoder" for what P+ and such means. Could someone please give ma a hint on where I can find it and thank you.

JJ's list is great for knowing what's open and where but was created in freer times. As services have been tightened and stores have been shut down by Uncle, it may not be as accurate as it was. The P+ used to indicate a better than average chance of extras. Now, you need to take it under advisement. It may not necessarily apply, if at all, until a rapport with a provider / store has been established.

Saw the sign was off and didn't stop. I'll learn to call ahead one of these days. Anyone know why the sign is off or have a burner to call them on?

The sign has been off for at least a week or more. I travel by frequently and no cars in front. Not saying it's closed, I have not called or stoped just saying light is off.

FYI I just drove by Silver Spa today and it looks shut down. I knew it wouldn't last long.

It was in a weird location right next store to what looked like a kids daycare but like Xhippie said, they don't care where they put them! However, they probably should put a little more thought into their location if they want to last longer.

One again time for my quarterly (or so) trip out to VIP. Last time I was there was Gina's second go round. Doubting there's someone as good there now but would appreciate any intel if someone's been there lately.

Excellent experience at #40. YMMV but its the best visit I've ever had at a local AMP.

I've only been there once myself, but it was a very quality experience for me too. If I'm ever down there again I would repeat.

I've never tipped Badly there, and almost always have had a good experience. That's why it was odd.

Maybe you reminded her of someone that does tip badly haha.
