The women allegedly solicited male law enforcement officers posing as johns. The men allegedly approached female law enforcement officers who they thought were prostitutes.

Ten women went to Gaston County Jail on Thursday night charged with prostitution. At least three of them have previous convictions for prostitution.

In most of the cases, bonds were set at $5,000 or below.
