Posts: 59Why Fake # and / or Pics?
Hi all,
Long time lurker of these reports. Mainly wanted to reach out to some of the experienced members and ask why do some BP reports post the fake numbers and / or pictures? Is it LE trying to setup stings or just girls / pimps trying to lure guys carrying cash into a place to get robbed?

Now that is an interesting looking app and it is free too. My problem with using burner is that they text you to set it up and I block all text on my phone. This may work. They have an android version too.

You have to be careful with email too. The can and will track email, just because you have an alias and a free email acct don't think they can't track it back to you.
I do not contact any providers by email, unfortunately I learned the hard way when my ATF got popped. She had emailed me out of the blue trying to set up a time, leo had been watching her and low and behold they called me at home.

I currently use a burner phone and differnt email. However, years ago I gave my "good" number. Now it would take years of sifting through phone records if someone got curious on my end, however, my fear is it may pop right up if someone gets investigated. I certainly don't have a high profile stutus like our car dealer friend in Charlotte had, but I assumed they looked into all the names and his was the one that made the news. I don't even recall the name of the agency then but I don't believe I was familiar with it back then either. Was it under the radar, or high end clientel? And was it the same man / wife team in south Charlotte that got clipped because they didn't pay taxes? It seems so long ago. Anyway, I'm not lying awake at night worrying about it. And I haven't had any "wrong numbers" call my real phone in the middle of dinner. I never heard what exactly happens when a list get "exposed". I know that it is too weak to charge someone with a crime, but the deterant would be making it know that your number was on a list with an agency or indie. I was just curious if someone may have experienced that or knew someone that has.

I believe there is a monthly fee but when you call someone it shows a bogus phone number on their phone. I have it on my phone but I never used it.

Posts: 6508Geeze. I understand what you are saying, but what does your number on a hoe's phone really prove? I guess they could harass you but they can't prove that you met her or what you did if you did meet her? Maybe you are just into getting a personal lapdance?

Get a burner phone or the burner app for your smart phone! I've never used the third party verification services before, maybe someone else can weigh in on those. Even the best agencies are at risk, don't you remember the high end service that was busted a few years back? Even the poor old photographer from Taylorsville that took pics for their website was drug through the mud! Don't think the actual client list came out, primarily because of some of the BIG names on it. Not all the girls can / will keep track of your name, number, etc. But it's a real crap shoot, I have one girl that I haven't seen in over a year hit me up out of the blue before Christmas because she was broke! She used to blow my burner up, and was a horrible waste of time & $$, even gave me a free BBBJ to keep seeing her and I refused cause she was so bad. I've had a few others over the years hit me up randomly when they're hard up.
So here's the thing, even if you have nothing to lose now (I. E. An SO) you very well might in a few months or a year and is that really a phone call or text that you want to get when you're on a real date? Some of these girls are real gems, no doubt. Just as some of us hobbiest are great guys, some of us are so jerks and assholes. Same rule applies to the girls we visit, some or gems, some are KRAZY! Think about it, even when we're dating civilians. How many times have you figured out alittle too late that the sweet girl you're dating is actually bat-shit crazy?
Do yourself a favor, always assume the worst. Hope for the best but with guarded optimism.

I understand why anyone would be cautious about giving personal info, but has anyone here had (or know of) catostrophic circumstances from giving up your real name and workplace? I ask because, as a newbie a few years ago, I assumed it was neccessary to book a reputable provider. Although I don't hobby very often, my name is floating around a few agencies. I'm told the agencies loose the info and create a profile that identifies the client by an e-mail or phone number (neither of which are not my primary). I had an agency remember me (so they say) after not using them for 5 years. From my experience, indies don't keep up with it very long (or just don't remember). I'm just hoping I don't get a phone call when someone gets raided just because I called them in 2007.
Before I get torched by the ladies, I completely understand the need to verify the client for your safety. I am not questioning the reasoning for doing it, only raising questions about how protective and confidential the info is. I know there are often low requiremnts on BP, therefore I would only provide the info to established and reviewed ladies from this point forward, if I had to at all.
