But back then providers seemed more inviting and welcoming to gentleman hobbyists writing reviews on the various platforms. Many providers (mostly the more mature / mainstream providers) today continue to want and welcome reviews about the hobbbyist's experiences with them.
However,. There are sometimes issues (and perhaps attitudes) that hobbyists might face after the providers become aware of the reviews or what was written.
1. Some providers did not like the details and or comments written about their physical features or appearance (size, weight, looks, etc.).
2. Some providers got upset or a little pissed-off because too much detail about the visit was included in the reviews; it is a provider's prerogative to perform services (or level of services) for one or some clients they feel comfortable with and not for others.
3. SOME providers took offense when they saw whom they thought were REGULAR clients visiting other / specific providers. Especially, when the other providers were local and they had not seen or heard from the client in a while.
4. After reading a REGULAR client's review about another provide(s) or "type" of provider(s), a provider might have stopped seeing that client. SOME providers might even ask the client , what did see in that particular provider or why did he choose her. (Yep, this has happened to me).
There's a few more observations I've noted over the years, but these are just a few of the more common observations noted.
An please keep in mind, I AM NOT implying that these are / were issues resulting from most or every provider reading hobbyists reviews over the years. These are simply observations of a few instances that I saw escalated on a couple of the various sites.
So, I agree that there is certainly a benefit for gentlemen sharing reviews on this and other review sites. I know most gents prefer to read ALL the juicy details but (IMO) the reviewers should be mindful of whom they write reviews for and the details that they share (good and bad). And just as important, reviewers should be mindful that certain providers might become aware and or read what was shared on this and other review sites. Now, some gents, may not give a flying f@#k whether a provider is aware of his review(s) or not, but be aware that some of the BETTER providers may not want to have too much of the "juicy details" about their visit posted in reviews on the various sites. Especially, if the visit was with a "specific" gentleman they enjoy(ed) spending hobby time and certain activities with. Because, contrary to what many gents might want to believe about this hobby, ALL providers DO NOT do the same thing(s) all the time with EVERY client they entertain. As you gents know the same goes for mongers as well. Not all gents do the same activities with ALL the providers they meet.
Some of the juicy stuff and particulars are better "selectively" shared in PM, if shared at all. Just my $0. 01 and a matter of opinion.
