While I would certainly sympathize with someone in that plight, just remind you what kind of risk you taking letting junkie in your car for ride. If LE sees and pulls you over on any pretext, good chance girl just going to throw her stuff on the ground and deny it is here, at which point you have just gotten yourself a possession charge. Anything in glovebox you don't want stolen? Or what if sufficiently altered that she passes out or maybe just decides she doesn't want to get out of your car? What would you do in that instance. No good deed goes unpunished. On rare occasions I would take someone I knew well somewhere in my car, I always try to establish she isn't holding, and even there I know I taking a bit of a risk.
