I'll start by saying I went right after work (4:30 ish) so maybe someone my experience was because they just opened.

The good.

- no cover charge.

- owner greeted me and was friendly.

The rest.

- seemed to be only 2 girls & neither was my type.

- I'm assuming they have a 2 drink minimum because a beer was $9.

- stage dance was nothing great. A full song and a half before a single breast was shown. Never got more than that.

- I didn't see anything that looked like a private dance area although Steven420 indicated something existed that I didn't see.

I moved on pretty quickly. Perhaps the night atmosphere is better.

Stopped in after work for a couple beers.

No entry fee before 7 p. Welcomed with open arms by the new owner.

4 ladies bouncing around the bar / stage.

Libby the lounge lizard is back working. Her chain smoking plague smell doesn't hit for me. She did explain Private Dances that happen in the claustrophobic back area are $40/ song. And go up to 60 min for $225.

Tipped the dancer on stage, Cherry, who joined me at the bar after her set and told me they do table dances for tips.

Was able to grab the bum and dive my face in to her bosom in a more secluded area of the club.

Didn't ask about the roped off lounge adjacent the stage with couches.

Few beers, tips and a standard fare table dance $35. There are worse ways to kill an hour.

You're not getting any extra's here. Maybe some discreetly offer take out, probably not since they have been open less than a week.

Well, about a week or so ago, while I was staying in Upstate NY, I decided to venture out after it stopped raining. As I was driving south down Route 9, I noticed there were only two cars in the Double Vision parking lot. That didn't look promising, so I decided to drive down to night Moves since I had never been there before. About the same number of cars, and there was only me, the DJ, and one dancer there. Of course, I went there shortly after opening on a weekday so that might have something to do with the lack of dancers and patronage. The "menu" prices, to me, seem to be pretty high especially since there was absolutely no hint of extras (I did buy a private dance just to see if anything extra would happen, and nothing other than a fairly sensual dance on her part did). As a matter of fact, the dancer kindly explained that "touching her goodies was not allowed."

With the menu prices, it would seem to me, that for not much more, one could probably get an escort and get everything that would be expected. Heck, I wouldn't doubt that one could probably find an attractive bar maid who might be looking to make a little extra money, under the radar, that would be in line with the menu prices and get a lot more for your money.

As some posters have said, it doesn't seem like strip clubs in the area are worth going to anymore. Even 10+ years ago, it was far better.

To answer the below post:

At Double Vision there is some topless stage dancing, but when I went few months ago most of time not. The girls do $20 lap dances keeping their clothes on in public area. I don't know details of prviate area.

Shenigans in Schenectady kind of similar. Some topless stripping, but main focus is public grinding, and trying to hustle you into expensive private dance. Which from I can gather will be like $100 for 15 minute topless lap dance (I haven't sample, maybe there is more, but if so sure its twice the price).

Best bet to at least see continous nude stripping is Nite Moves. Some of the woman may offer brief public lap dances for $5. Private lap dances are alot more like $40 for one song I think. Believe there are private VIP rooms for alot more, but I have not gone.

The strip club scene in this area is not good. I almost never go. Used to go alot more say 15 years ago it was better. But anyway hope what I provided is of some use.

Went to Double Vision in Clifton Park.

Don't personally much point in going to Double Vision. I guess the regulars seem to like it, but seems little point for me.

I'm from the area and will be in town this week. I was planning on stopping here but from this and other less than stellar reviews, I'm not sure it would be worth it. Would it be a total waste of my time?

It's been many years since I've gone to a club and these places are pure rubbish. Descent looking women with overall poor performances. The prices from booze to dances for sub par service are ridiculously over priced and I can see why these places don't get much business. I can't believe they're still open to be honest. Mis-management at its finest. The performers took looking at hot strippers and naked women to a whole new level of awful. It’s supposed to be fun. Does this town have a saving grace for adult entertainment? I think not. What a waste of time and money. Stay away from these dumps if you're looking for a good time, because you won't find it and your wallet will wince. I miss the good old days of Bare Bottoms and XXXotica. Now those women knew how to party. Even DiCarlos, before all the rule changes, was a great time.

Just read that DiCarlos is closing due to an infringement on copy rights. Double Vision might be tough to find extra fun unless you know a dancer that does side work so I'd be careful. CP is a wasteland for extras.

Went to Double Vision in Clifton Park.

Anywhere from 5 to 10 customers there in the hour or so I was there, starting around 3:40 pm.

There was alot of sitting at the bar talking among the customers and dancers, seems likely alot of the customers are regulars.

A scarily skinny woman covered in tattoos danced on stage. She did not remove her top. I was the only one at the stage.

After some delay someone asked me if I wanted to see another dancer. I said sure. Another one came to the stage. She was the best looking one there, healthy looking no tattoos nice tits, neither skinny or thick.

She did 2 songs with her top on, and asked her if she was going to get topless. She said I can if you want. She did 2 more songs topless. Never asked me for a tip. Or came too close.

Then I went to the bar for awhile. No one on stage.

I see alot of pairing off for private dances. Its $30 for 2 with same amt expected as tip for dancer.

A young latino (I think) skinny woman asks if I want a table dancw. Thats $20 one song rubbing on you no nudity. It was OK but had a better one at night Moves for $6.

Then after around 20 minutes a thick big titted covered with tattoos woman starts dancing on stage. She kept her top on for 2 songs, took it off for part of the 3rd song, then put it on again for the 4th song. Never saw that before, after getting topless putting it on again and continuing dancing.

So anyway left at this time.

Went for first time in long while the other night.

First off, they make you lock your phone in a container, like a cloth container about the size of a phone. You keep the container, but can't get your phone out. They said they can't take a chance on people filming the club. Very disconcerting. When you leave, they unlock the container, and get your phone back.

Hardly any customers there even though 8 PM to 9 PM or so.

Around 5 dancers, mix of different looks, body types, all at least reasonably attractive.

One asked for $1 tips frequently during her stage act, others less so.

The stage acts were a bit distanced, no one was sitting on your lap or putting their boobs in your face; like they do in some clubs (and at times in the past have here).

They have $6 table dances, Got one, very nice, lot of grinding.

I was surprised other dancers did not come over to offer that, only the one did.

They were mostly just sitting around doing nothing.

Did not get private dance, they are $20, believe for 3 minutes, and assume tip expected.

So overall not too inspiring a time, wish the dancers tried to be more personable and interactive.

Talked to a woman there she told me:

$40 to the house, at least $50 tip to get topless and rub against you. Thats for 10 minutes. Can touch abywhere but pussy but have to work out the tip for that with tje woman. I guess tjey changed? Used to be just watch and jerk off.

For 25 minutes its $100 to the house, work out tip with the woman.

Went to Shenanigans next door. Same 2 woman at Sheer Pleasure would be there. No. Live shows till night time.

Have no idea why they can't see that pricing is insane, and they would get far more customers if they were reasonable.

The woman who gave we this info even admitted it can be very expensive.

If you got good clubs where you live, imo just don't bother with Albany. Not enuf clubs, dancers, quality dancers, and contact and opportunity for takeout far more limited than any other place I have been. Would add, that in addition to tumbleweeds blowing thru Shenanigans often, if you do want a private dance you need to go outside next door to adult bookstore that has an area, which shenanigans too small for. No idea how that place stays in business.

I have been to both a few times in the past, not since covid.

Thinking of going to see if anything has changed.

In the past, Sheer Pleasure would cost you $80 or so.

For a woman to strip in front of you, but no touching. I always came away feeling scammed after that. Obviously foolish of me to think it would change.

Shenanigans usually had no stage show, and woman would come by and want like $5 to dance near you for 2 minutes. No nudity.

Anyway if its the same, not worth it.
