I read previously on Backpage, that this was a scam alert. Being backpage, the post has been long gone (read it months ago) , but claimed that after miney was exchanged and hobbyist was on the table, a man walked in and threatened him. Chased him from the apartment and that was that. The report indicated this felt like a staged thing, NOT a jealous BF.

Anyways, today (thinking with the wrong head) , I took the chance. As I said, I could not find the post and was 'only 90% sure' it was the girl with the alert. I SHowed about 5 min late. She never told me there were 4 apartments in her building. Buzzers didn't work. I went inside, knoced on the first 3 doors. Nothing. Went to the landing of the 4th floor, didn't bother knocking because a man was inside talking on the phone rather loudly. Arrranging some kind of construction. Clearly not her apt. WRONG! Went back to my office, called her and asked what door I was supposed to knock on. Sure enough, she told me, and it was the one with the loud man. I mentioned it to her, and she claimed (after a long pause) that there was no man there. Then she told me it was her on the phone (yeah. Ok).

He wasn't a client based on the conversation I heard him having, plus I was 5 min late, not early. I would have felt much better about it if she said 'oh that's my boyfriend, he will leave when you get here', but the way she explained it, along with the posting I recalled, it made even ME of all people think with the right head and decline. BE CAREFUL!

PS, another post in this thread indicated no such issues (though not a great review either).

This is a girl I scoped out a long time ago and decided she was at the very least not even worth the hassle if anything about her was legit. The original number (s) that she used to advertise with came up as registered to a construction company and also a paralegal, I'm not sure If I still have the info, but the address did point to a union street address. But hey doing some new research its amazing the information you can dig up on these morons, I have the real name of the dude, and going to see how long it takes to find the name of the girl.
