I had a similar experience a few years back but got out without any losses. The girl was young and kept asking for the money first but I would not give in. I showed her the cash but she wanted me to but it on the table, again I refused and decided to bail. As I was leaving the door was locked and was not allowing me to get out but I was able to finally figure out the thing and bolted. I was immediately followed from the "empty" apartment by a dude with a machete. I was carrying at the time and once I pulled out the handgun he slowed down but still came after me. He followed me to my car almost Challenging me to drop him. I got the f out of there but have been over cautious since that experience and am very nervous of apartment incalls now.
