It's probably the bots, for whatever reason they reply, are missing any comprehension skills to understand as to what gender or group the ad is actually trying to target.

One thing for sure.. Is that you that you need to be able to weed out the posers and bots from the legit ads. I still get fooled once in a while, but if you consider the nigerian scammers seem to have problems with capitalization or punctuation as applied to the English language. Look for little mistakes in punctuation, spelling or lower cased letters that should be capitol letters, etc.
