She messaged me on WYP and we exchanged #'s. She was very eager to meet, and said she could host. She wouldn't give me an address without a deposit, or she said we could meet in a public place and then arrange going to either her place or mine. So we meet face to face, she is the girl in the pics, and decided she would come to my place later that evening. She asked if I would give her some money as a deposit for gas and something to eat. I broke my own rule and gave her a few bucks. I know, I don't want to hear it. You can guess the rest. I never heard of the scam before, so was new and wanted to let you guys know about it. Good thing -maybe bad thing- depends on point of view. Is that I don't have any family, so no embarrassment to be had here. If real-just the way it goes--but I thought it was Bull Sh_t from the beginning. I do use my personal phone, but have no hookers out to my house. That's out from the get go. I just stepped up from carrrying my. 380 to carrrying my. 45 far a week or so. No big deal in this cold weather. Pain when it gets warm. Nice thing about being over 70 is that I don't walk around with a woody, takes a awhile to get in the mood again after taking care of the little guy. So nothing is really changing for me.

I'd seriously consider using Text Now or Google Voice. Some of these girls with "handlers" have been known to actually extort, so it's just not worth the risk. They don't need to be physically near you to try and ruin your personal life.

Since I wasted his girls time, if I didn't pay $6000.00 he was going to kill me and my family. Probably all Bull Sh-t, but if he is for real, which I doubt, he's going to be disappointed. One I'm over 70 years old, my wife died over a year ago, we had no kids, all my siblings are dead, basically have no family. Plus I ran up a pretty good body count while serving 14 months in Vietnam. If he is for real his clowns better not miss, because I seldom do..

I'm posting this for 2 reasons. One to give you guys a heads up as to the game that is being played, and 2, if its for real, in addition to my cell phone, LE will / may have somewhere else to gather some information about what happened. He showed a couple of pics of a pile of weapons, and a couple of severed heads, likely got them off of the internet. So if any of you get any text like that in the future, and I'm still around, then you will know for sure that it is all Bull Sh-t.

Personally I think this just some scammer in a basement somewhere. But, we all need to be aware of what's readily available on the internet related to our phones.

If you are using your regular cell phone to contact these ladies, there are websites like www.whitepages.com where if you pay for a premium membership, you can look up people by their phone and find their name, DOB, address, and related people (like a spouse). I use it for my business so I have a paid membership. It doesn't always find people by their cell phone number, but it works a lot of the time.

Gentlemen, if you are using your regular cell phone, just be aware that the scammers can potentially find your name, address and family members (and their phone numbers also) very easily. Or if it's a disgruntled escort who wants to either blackmail you or just give you shit by talking to your family, it's potentially all there.

I use a cheap second phone with a prepaid plan that keeps me completely anonymous. There are also options like Google Voice and other apps, but a lot of escort ads are saying now that they don't respond to app numbers. And they can easily look that up on a site like https://www.freecarrierlookup.com to know if it's a regular cell phone or not.

It's up to you, but I would advise never using your personal cell phone in the hobby.
