A "friend" in the business told me that about 30 girls got picked up last week in a series of stings across West County and St. Charles. She's out on ListCrawler, not sure about the others, but said that they hit pretty hard. Not sure about much other information, but she's decided to head East for a while until things settle down.

Anyone heard similar?

I talked to a friend who mentioned things feeling different over the last few months. It's likely because Schmitt is running for the empty congressional seat. The primary is in August. AG's with high arrests and convictions gives the illusion that people are safer, and the providets & patrons in this business are low‐hanging fruit. Things will likely be hot for awhile, at least until the end of the year.

If that many women got pinched all at once I would expect LC / STG postings to dip dramatically.

A few girls are missing from the regular rotations but otherwise everyone appears accounted for.

There is a thin line between enticement and entrapment -- frequently that line is blurred. Prosecutors like to see sex charges, because they have a 97 percent conviction rate. They don't do that good with shop lifting.

Most of that high conviction rate is guys looking to keep the arrest / trial as low profile as possible so they almost always end up pleading to a lesser charge but still something listed a sex charge just to get it over with and out of the court system.

The simple solution is to legalize prostitution among consenting adults, and then concentrate limited police resources on real crimes.

But Sparky has an idea for a future "sting", how about they advertise a male prostitute looking for women only? The women that respond to the ad just might include some of the big shots wives LOL? Imagine a line up of 100+ women that were nabbed responding to a fake ad. Honey, what were you thinking?

Sad for the girls who were maybe forced into prostitution but I don't feel sad for the John's arrested that were trying to hook up with someone underage.

Far be it for me to defend the pedos but I'm always shocked to see people pile on to condemn people who committed "crimes" with fictional victims. There is literally no underage girl they tried to bang. She doesn't exist. She's an adult cop.

It would be like bringing me up on beastiality charges cause I tried to fuck a mermaid. I mean, I would definitely hit that fishy ass but alas, there are no mermaids so trying to bang mermaids is not a crime.

St. Louis Prosecuting Attorney George Peach had been leading a double life, cracking down on pornography while frequenting prostitutes. He spent thousands of dollars each year, renting the rooms under the alias "Larry Johnson. " Some of the bills were charged to the taxpayers.

The sting officer recognized Peach from previous cases.

I think lawyers will get around it by saying, he didn't buy sex, he just rented her. Unless he married her.

If I buy something it's mine. If I rent it, it's not mine just using it. It's all in the wording.

But still I'm not going to be the one that attempts that fight.
