    Recent sting

There was a post on the 11th of the General section about a guy that got busted in st charles.

I wonder if this is the same sting operation?

The way the news article is worded is kind of scary though.

Its because free grant money available for combating human trafficking. Interesting article. Purpose of sting being human trafficking mentioned in opening paragraph, no mention of any human trafficking charges being brought in body, and then concluding with contact us if you are in danger of human trafficking. A combination of poor reporting and our tax dollars at work.

Well the ad better have alluded to an underage girl or maybe someone who was not working for herself, not an independent adult making her own decisions.

I wrote a post about this sting on 11/11 on the General Reports. A friend of mine got busted. With this being put on TV I'm beginning to worry about him.

If the police use lewd entrapment the charges will be dismissed.

This will be a showcase to send a message which is what it appears to be from the news articles.

I suspect that the ads were ambiguous and lacking in details most ladies provide right away.

The article says undercover cops were contacted by men seeking sex in exchange for money, and then were "found and arrested" by the cops. So they weren't even arrested at the location of the sting? This sounds really weird, if it's accurate. I guess don't ever offer money for sex (bruh). And if anyone tries to get you to do so, move on.

    Poorly written news article

https://fox2now.com/news/missouri/11...icking-sting/. I think the original news story was poorly written. I strongly suspect all subjects discussed rates for services, and showed up at a location, and very well might have submitted payment and then taken onto custody. While not impossible, it would take a tremendous amount of police work to obtain search warrants for each phone number, identify, locate then arrest each subject, especially considering it is a lower level crime. I think they would be overwhelmed with texts messages and calls, so they would have to figure out a way to make the Best cases possible. I am confident more then 11 perverts contacted a stg and. The highway patrol doesn't stop everyone they can for speeding, that would not be effective use of man power. They have thresholds. Also all the men seemed to be local to the area (just a observation). It would be far more effective for the Police to post a ad, give a location and then arrest everyone who shows up. It's not about eliminating the oldest profession and it's buyers, it's about racking up easy arrests. I read several different articles concerning this incident. Most mentioned that the police not only arrested 11, but identified several suspected johns and these individuals, tho would not be charged with a crime, would be added to a internal police list. What's up with that? I am not sure how this list could be used in Future arrests or prosecution. I am sure most police officers know who's selling dope, who's the Town drunk, in their area, but until they have enough proof to make a arrest, they just have rumour and speculation. I guess it could be used by the police to focus on that individual, until they find a charge, but that seems almost like harassment.

I saw on the news the bust in St. Charles about a week ago. I can only assume it is happening everywhere. It would be easier setting up sting operations with the escorts services than street walkers. Due to the fact that you are using a phone to start the transaction. The only difference between an escort and a streetwalker is the cost of service and a smartphone. The game is the same. Which goes to show you, a burner phone and a VPN are just as important as a condom.

Know who you're talking and texting to and don't become naive to your surrounding. Good luck!

    Anyone heard similar?
