I'd much rather have the tats than listen to one of those girls drone on about how "my skin is perfect and I'd never ruin it with ink".

I think they're fine, and it gives me and the provider something easy in common to talk about since they always ask about mine. So I'm all kinds of fine with it.

The only exception is when a tattoo is so bad it's distracting. I saw a girl a few years ago with a terrible, full back piece tattoo of the arch that said "south side" on it and it was such a "friend's basement" quality level of distraction that it did damper the experience.
