BOSTON, Nov 8 — US prosecutors yesterday charged three people with running a high-end brothel network out of apartment complexes in greater Boston and northern Virginia whose customers included elected officials, tech and pharmaceutical executives, lawyers, professors and military officers.

Federal prosecutors in Boston did not identify any of the "wealthy and well-connected clientele" that they say paid up to US $600 (RM2807) per hour for sexual encounters with predominantly Asian women who were being exploited through sex trafficking.

More information is coming out. It does appear the deceased was associated with one of the Asian agencies. Articles mention "organization". Going to guess law enforcement is going to try to pry more information from the witness who reported the death. Stay safe everyone.

Yeah they used to just target the kiddie hunters which is more than fair game in my book. I saw the police report in Bloomington--no felony charges so its BS that they were being a white knight for underage girls--nope just a plain old sting. And they spent a week for nabbing 14 guys. They used to get that in a day. What a waste of everyone's time and money. Oh and the liquor store that was robbed. Yeah that guy is still on the loose. WTF.

Running a prostitution sting isn't a good use of taxpayer funds. Law Enforcement didn't even focus on Johns seeking minors. They should focus more in violent offenders and crazy drivers.

I don't think anyone on here can deny that Backpage made our lives easier. It's sad that a few bad apples, those trafficking women and those dealing with minors, had to take away a good thing for everyone else. Also sad that it led to this guy committing suicide. Should he have done more to get rid of the bad actors, I don't know as I'm not in position to know what was and wasn't done.

And you know what the crock is full of. It was an adult ad. Purporting to be independent. Therefore no trafficking.

So after getting busted for a prostitution GM (minimum charge now in MN). The cops interviewed those busted to see if they would admit to committing a felony over sexual trafficking (to help victims LOL). This was just a way for cops to look good vs all the bad press they typically get. Helping trafficking victims? The law is against them because we prosecute religious sins and they don't have equal protection because of that. This is why I take uber to incall so if I'm busted they impound the uber driver's car and not mine LOL. Joking!

Just a heads up fellow mongers. If the ad is too good to be true 100 percent of the time is going to be a set up, fake. Do your research and check if the ad have any history. If the ad is new and only been posted and is too good to be true then don't even bother. Good luck fellow mongers and if your not sure post it on here first before jumping the gun.

Meth, fet, and other drugs are a major distribution pipeline here but sure lets hunt down an agency. As soon as one comes here the puritans attack.

I read that law enforcement asked those caught to lead them to known providers. The press conference also indicated that the operation was a multi-step program. I'm assuming providers, particularly groups, are next on their list. I would be weary of agencies short-term.
