Stay safe out there and leave the minors alone, chances are it's a sting.

Is very one sided. The study was financed by an anti-prostitution group. The article is correct that there are many girls / women that are trafficked, but it not the vast majority of the women. The younger women / girls are more likely to be trafficked than the more mature women. I also agree with TwistedBrother that many of the women we see are more in control of their own situations. I may be in the minority of "sex buyers" but I try to treat the women that I see with respect. But then again I do not hit my spouse or kick my dog or get in fights with friends or strangers. I know that even the most inexpensive ladies are charging more per hour than most of their customers make per hour.

I agree I think some of that is true. I think if it was legal it wouldn't be like that for most women. Ever been to a brothel in nevada those girls live like queens are happy and live a normal life outside of work. Thats the way it should be!

While I know some of what this study says to be true, a lot of it seems far from my / our experiences as mongers on this board. I know we represent a fraction of those who "buy sex," but I don't see the level of exploitation, masochism, or other negative qualities described here. I also see the women on their side of the coin with a lot more power than is suggested. Maybe not on the streets, but the AMP girls and escorts we all see are generally older, independent, and are making a lot of $$$ from us. They're also ripping us off from time to time and usually telling us how it's going to be, not us telling them.
Give this a read and see what you think.
