I did visit the new AMP Sunshine Massage. As I mentioned last month, It is on Westnedge In the same plaza as Lovers Lane. They got it together pretty quick because when I mentioned it three weeks ago, they hadn't even put the dry wall up.

When I went in for my appointment, I noticed that it is set up like Mei Li West. I was meet up front by a lady (Sorry, name slips my mind) who gave me a welcome and the run down. Things like price and that it is cash only for right now.

I went in with low expectations. She led me to the room and I got ready. She came back and did a good massage. There was no teasing at all. Her English was very good and she sparked up a conversation here and there. On the flip, she continued the good massage and then she slightly touched my hand to bring it close to the goods. Now remember, there was no teasing and I was not aroused in the slightest so I thought why is she evening attempting to suggest DIY? As I usually do, I rejected and told her I have no interest in DIY. She said "okay, we don't do either" After that she said, "No worries at all, just enjoy the massage" then she finished with more legs, feet, and shoulders.

What I did like was that when I told her I had no interest in DIY, she immediately dropped it and continued the massage. Unlike Sherry and Amy (Stadium) who keep aggressively try to make you do it.

So there it is fellas, like I need a BJ said, how many no happy spots are we going to get. That now makes seven AMP's and only one (Lotus) offers any good service. Speaking of Lotus, I haven't been in almost two years.

Pros: Good massage.

Cons: No teasing, no happy, DIY offered, ran by the same people who run both Mei Li's, Sage St, and Stadium.

Like I said, I went in with my expectations low so it is what it is. It is frustrating though to have seven AMP's in this small area with not much options. My opinion, you can go to Sunshine, but it is the same as the other spots.

I don't know what to say that hasn't already been said about this place, always a good massage with a happy finish. The girls have never let me down. Its 70 for a HR and I tip the HR fee.

I was driving down Westnedge today and noticed a lighted massage sign in the window of a store. I drove up to check it out and in the door is a piece of paper that says sunshine massage and a phone number. I texted the number and they said they are opening tomorrow morning. Unfortunately, I'm out of town tomorrow morning for work for a few days. The place is between Kilgore and Cork in the same strip mall as the lovers lane store.

Has anyone had a recent experience at beautiful life on portage rd? I'm curious if it is at all worth revisiting or still no happy. Lulu apparently is back. Also, has anyone experienced Michelle at Sage and care to share war stories?

I have visited Lulu a few times at the other locale, Mei Le. Still DIY as well as Sage.

Your local massage lover checking in. We are supposed to be getting another AMP in Kalamazoo. It has been in the works for the last three months, but no info on an open date. What I know so far is that it will be on Westnedge between Milham and Cork St. So, this will make seven AMP's in our area. My hope is that this new place will not be run by the people who run Mei Li East & West, Asian massage Stadium, and Asian massage Sage St. The reason is that I would like some new people as I am kind of tired of the same folks running the show. Kind of over the same recycled owners. As for now, that is all the details. But you know as soon as it opens I will be there.

I used to enjoy Sherry on Stadium and when she moved to Beautiful Life. It was frustrating that it was only DIY. But her tease and beauty were a nice combo. Does anyone know where she is now?

Just visited LuLu a few times the last 2 weeks on W Main, same status, no extras. Friendly, relaxing atmosphere, clean.

Visited Sage St also last week, no extra but allowed DIY if you like. Decent massage, friendly, and I did like the exclusiveness of their parking.

Haven't tried Lotus since the month they opened (long time ago), planning on trying this week after the decent reviews.

Lulu also works at their other shop just off of West Main (Maple Hill Drive), Mei Li. She provides a very good massage. Encourages DIY but not much more, in my experience.

Recently visited Lotus. What can I say that hasn't already been said? It was good. Not earth-shattering, but good. The provider was playful and knew what she was doing. I didn't get her name. I should have because it was my first time seeing her, but I just wanted to relax and enjoy the experience without much chit chat and she was OK with that. I did hhr for $50 and was slightly more generous than just matching the door fee with my tip. You know, Old Faithful isn't the biggest or the best geyser in Yellowstone, but it's the most famous because it's dependable and goes off pretty much like clockwork, which makes it great for tourists. Sometimes you just need something that you can count on to be like you expect it to be. That's Lotus. I was trying to save up for a trip to GR with more offerings both in terms of providers and menu, but the urge won out. Oh, well. Be safe and as always, YMMV. --RJ.

In a recent visit to Lotus, I drew Lisa, an attractive middle aged woman. Good massage and good customer service. I would repeat with Lisa.

The Kalamazoo massage scene is not as good as Grand Rapids, Battle Creek and Jackson, but Lotus is one of the better AMPs in Kalamazoo.
