    I figured it out.

Staples "visa gift card" worked. On the back of package it says "Issued by metaBank" which is part of the Blackhawk network others have mentioned. I waited an hour before trying and it worked on first attempt.

I've used both successfully. Currently on the lam from SA due to my indiscreet mention of $. Both take a lot of work and patience but I presently have 3 SBs that I see regularly. One is going on 6 years.

    Ss out.

    Altering pics for search

Another tip: one can alter the image by flipping horizontally or "mirroring" it, adding borders or adding text or stickers over top to reduce the likelihood of being found by search engines. That's another sign I look for on SB profiles. If a logos or say the seatbelt appears mirrored that is a sign the pic might not be theirs. Most people's phone settings save front facing camera selfies the correct way (and only mirror it on the screen while you take it). And if it's NOT a selfie there is no reason an image should be mirrored. So you can look out for that when evaluating profiles but also use those techniques on your own photos if you are concerned.

    Sharing pics & info

Thanks Jay for the warning. Sites like Seeking and Secret Benefits are ripe with fake profiles and scammers so be careful how you navigate then. Here are some thoughts on how to assess your risk before sharing personal info:

In my endeavors I'm suspect of any profile that only has 1-2 sentence descriptions. New young & hot profiles pop up daily with very generic descriptions and a willingness to meet anyone (I. E. With no criteria on what the type of man they want to meet). Many will use tired tropes like "here for a good time not a long time", or post pictures from exotic locations inconsistent with their self description of a struggling college student. If the pictures look like they were posted on instagram or Facebook (and not selfies) then they probably were stolen. Most of these profiles are just looking for men to throw money at them, but some could be more sinister and try to get your identity and blackmail you if you are married as Jay warns.

The difference between escorts and a real woman on a Sugar site looking for a little extra is that escorts will see anybody. I want the ones who won't just see anybody. The ante for a true SB is establishing trust and the table stakes are greater. If you come across too protective or paranoid you likely will miss out. It's a delicate balance.

If you've read all the posts this may sound repetitive but worth repeating:

    1. Don't use your real phone number, or give out your full name.

    2. Try to get her number first before you talk terms but also before sharing personal info so you can.

    3. Check her number on numlookup. Com and other sites. If it comes back as a VOIP, then she is likely either experienced in pay for play or a scammer. If the search comes back with a name now you have something to cross reference with to know she's at least real. Often I can find her on Facebook or linked and see unfiltered pics.

    4. If you are unsure request a posed confirmation selfie exchange or video call as soon as you can without coming across as too pushy. Do it as fun & flirty way, not demand it, but get her to send you a unique pic first before you give up your face.

    5. Don't use ANY pictures of yourself that can be found on social media or try to alter your normal look (remove glasses, where a hat, don't take it with your home in background, and not in your favorite shirt).

I catch tons of fake profiles but it doesn't mean if you verify she is a real woman you might not still get scammed or ghosted. Part of the gamble with SBs is knowing when to be more personal and open or even gift up front to separate you from all the other paranoid men asking her to jump through hoops or meet for free. Risk & reward. But as Clark W Griswald would say, "it's all part of the experience Russ".

    Anyone with a SO

Needs to be aware of this. It was reported in the Richmond thread but I wanted to share it here for our benefit.

The sure you need to be aware os is pimeyes.com. Facial recognition search engine. Much more accurate than Google.

If you have any kind of internet presence from work or social media you are vulnerable to this.

I just took a selfie that is nowhere on the internet, ran it on pimeyes, and it pulled up five websites I am on IRL.

Very scary. I never used real pics on my SA profile but occasionally I will text a face pic. Never again.
