ECCIE is still up and the admins there have stated they plan on staying up. I'm not sure how they're going to get around FOSTA.

I have been wondering the same thing. A few years ago when MIComapnions was around, it was great. You could interact, talk about anything (generally) actually get a feel for the person, I had some serious fun with that site, and made a couple of "friends" too. I can't remember why it ended or shut down, but this is the way to go. I too have mentioned it to a few people, providers and a couple of coworkers, take out strippers, but it just doesn't seem to take off, hopefully it does.

Why has the classified section that this website provides not taken off yet here in Michigan? It works awesome in the Cincinnati and Dayton areas in Ohio. I visit there some and there are tons of ads and another section with lots of reviews. Seems like we should recommend it to providers we see. I have, but none were willing to try it. Now they might be.

Well so much for the 1st amendment to the USA Constitution! Looks like the powers to be are trying like hell to get rid of the 1st amendment and the 2nd amendment. Too bad that Craigslist had to bow down to the powers to be in reference to this, some very legitimate massage therapists did advertise on Craigslist, fortunately I kept their numbers and addresses as I often have lower back pain, chiropractic sessions only made it worse.

In most instances, therapeutic massage therapy is a very honorable profession.

The chicks are going to have to lower their high ass rates now, or work the streets. Their platform is gone. I wish I saved those numbers now. At least the ones who answered or kept the numbers. Prob a trap for them to hit the streets and them to hit us up getting them.

FOSTA hasn't even been signed into law yet and everyone is freaking out. As I said earlier, the Feds ostensibly wrote the law to take out sites like BP but they didn't NEED a new law to do it.

The technology is available to get around the law. It's only a matter of time before someone finds a way around it and exploits it.

I've read through the law a few times now. If someone posts a picture with a phone number (as BP was doing recently), how is that in violation of the new law?

"(Sec. 3) The bill amends the federal criminal code to add a new section that imposes penaltiesa fine, a prison term of up to 10 years, or bothon a person who, using a facility or means of interstate or foreign commerce, owns, manages, or operates an interactive computer service (or attempts or conspires to do so) to promote or facilitate the prostitution of another person.

Additionally, it establishes enhanced penalties, a fine, a prison term of up to 25 years, or both for a person who commits the offense in one of the following aggravating circumstances: (1) promotes or facilitates the prostitution of five or more persons, or (2) acts with reckless disregard that such conduct contributes to sex trafficking. ".

So if servers are hosted by a foreign owner in a non-extradition country (e.g. Russia) and women only post pictures with a phone number (as BP did near the end), I think it would be hard to prove a federal case as any agreement of sex for money between individuals would be unknown to operators. BP can't really make that claim as they massively profited off the escort ads even before the changes. But a new site could.

If you don't have a VPN, now is the time to get one. I was able to connect to TER with my VPN through Canadian servers.

I guess the question most of us have is where will the ladies end up posting? I mean most of us have phone numbers of a handful of solid providers so those providers that didn't post on BP anyway, will probably be ok. There's always SC and AMPs and I suspect they'll be having an increase in business.
