OK. So I have looked at the pictures (thank you HL). The picture of her outer arm. The one without the scab. I was thinking OK, she could have burned herself and that one is splatter. Did she say what cooking? Grease? Oven? Anyways, then I am looking at this. If it was a burn, how come it isn't raw and scabbing like the other side? Infections usually make a lump like that. At least the ones I have seen. Now look at the scab area. Could just be the quality of the picture, but does it look like its black and blue to the left of the scab? If so, a burn won't do that. Wouldn't an IV infection cause a black and blue?

Re: Ally's arm wound. No surprise that many of the Ladies on BP are IV drug users. Thank you all for the discussion. That's the value of sharing about providers here so we all better know what to expect before partaking. I just want to point out, the burn you think is an IV mark on the OUTSIDE of her forearm, has no veins, and if you think that a mark on the OUTSIDE of the forearm has anything to do with drug use, clearly, you don't understand how drugs are used.

I also was wondering about this. The picture is gone now and I only saw it once, but IIRC, she was holding her arms up with her hands behind her head (typical "sexy" pose) and the mark was clearly visible. Like a big red stain inside her elbow / forearm. If I'm right, then from the angle, the mark / wound would have to be inside her arm, not the outside. Also, just as a general comment, I have seen plenty of users with scabs / skin breakdown on the outside of their arms / legs / back etc. The skin doesn't necessarily only break down where the needle is going in...
