I agree crazy that was brought up. I was messaged and the person said to be safe for the UTR he was providing he wanted me to email him from my personal email to make sure I "passed" for his UTR. My spidey senses went up immediately.

Attract, Glad you brought that up, because I wondered about seeing a couple posts saying to send email vs a pm. Nefarious purposes comes to mind. My experience is that the type of request to send or exchange email addresses was always through back channels, and, I assume, should be prudently followed only if among known or highly trusted parties. You can have a pseudo email address, and a provider or regular person may not be able to follow the trail, but le has many more enforcement tools to trace details or force site owners to provide details (I just read about Twitter having been legally forced to provide user name details, and we all heard about BAD). An aside btw associated with BAD, there are specifics of some scary details of methods used regarding how the url and info about owners, customers, and users was traced and obtained, so I now, no matter who asks, will no loner provide any personal verification info, I don't care if direct to a provider or through p411 or similar)..

Additionally, we all should even wonder if this site or other sites are being brought back up by LE vs independents, because it is not unheard of that LE operates sites. For instance, you used to be able to lookup who owned and registered this and other sites, and now from the US side there is no info on the sites purportedly registered outside of this country.

Just be careful, some members are collecting your email address by promising to provide some contact info. Not sure if they are genuine or they are upto something.
