I think you're mistaking amigo. The Reps have their problems but it's not the Reps that drive this but rather the Dems. Women rights, human trafficking and so on: these are Democratic issues. Correct me if I'm wrong but the job opportunities, items for buy / sell etc all have their own separate category. These mouth breathing knuckle dragging fools shut down the entire page not just the sex ads.

Excellent point. I have items for sale and business services advertisements on Backpage. Nothing to do with sex or trafficking. Now, the entire site is inaccessible!

I mean, you're wrong. At the local level, maybe. But Republicans control everything right now, including and most importantly moron Jeff Sessions at the DOJ which is behind this. There is nothing happening at the federal level right now that is not sanctioned by Republicans.

In light of recent developments, I'm pondering 'what next' and have a few thoughts.

Alternatives. I don't intend to start a 'what should we use thread', and yes, fully cognizant of USASG's offering, but more wondering how a solution that was at BPs / CLs scale can emerge. First, the fervor with which the trumpets are attacking this tells me a non-dark web solution would be tough? I can't claim to know enough about whether having servers in another country protects one (kimdotcom), but even if it does, getting to the stage where you have even close to the number of unique visits / clicks that BP had would be a task in itself.

The SPs. Spoken to a few regulars and they are all shitting bricks. A bunch of them had paid up for weekends at hotels and are sounding a bit desperate (which could be advantageous for us), but in the long term, what do they end up doing? The crackheads? Back out on the streets. Maybe some more activity for our SW brethren, but LEO have been upping their presence so will be interesting to see. The local 'part-timer', who has another job during the week? The streets are probably a stretch, maybe another McDonalds job or similar? Likely keep seeing regulars that they have, but low demand will mean they can't ever justify booking a hotel, so far fewer incalls. Traveling girls? Well, we can probably say goodbye to fresh talent. It will be impossible to cover costs without a reliable solution in most cities, let alone Boston.

The mongers. Well, senior members might seem to have it sorted, and are likely best poised to extract value from the current frenzy, however the reality will set in that a few seniors can't provide enough demand for the number of SWs and their cost structure. The regulars. Well, real regulars will have to rely on their own contact books and development of regulars. Fake regulars who just troll and want others to toftt will fade back into the shadows and boost pornhubs numbers. I suspect there may be some more migration to the SW scene, but I suspect most are on here because they value creature comforts.

It would be interesting to hear other's opinions, and If anyone wants to PM, you know where I'm at.

In all this, I'm thinking about how it could affect supply, demand (and as a result, pricing) and quality / safety.

Yeah so they really believe that seizing backpage makes all these places go away? No I don't think so. Just because they can't advertise doesn't mean they seize to exist. So we will still go to the aamps and the massage parlors and negotiate for HJ, BJ, FS. MP's will still bring in asians from all over and they can call it trafficking but the good ole rub and tug will be around for ever. After all there are other ways to search for MP's in your area Backpage is not the only option.

Hey guys just want to warn you guys. I know some of you use seeking arrangements and think it's safe. THINK AGAIN, I tried seeking arrangements with hope of finding a good regular. I communicated with and met a girl in va, The girl that I met was a cop! She used her real pictures and all. I was totally caught off guard. Apparently there was some trafficking or something going on and she said since Craigslist was done guys have been using that site. Luckily I was let go but still suffering from post traumatic stress! YOU'VE BEEN WARNED, this was my very first time meeting someone and that shit happened to me, needless to say I deleted my account. But if you use that site to find anything other than a sugar baby be careful, cops are all over this!

Remember the girl / cop was in va but I don't see why md / dc wouldn't be doing the same thing. Hope this helps-.

Backpage is gone and Craigslist therapeutic is gone. All from today.

Also, across the street has just closed to the USA ThE otheR place it is. Looks like pretty much all places will be gone soon.

Will be too much work to find someone to see. For me I will not be bothered hunting around, may go on SA and see what happens.

I am sure many pros will move there.
