I googled the phone number and it turns out it was from a LE agency in Baltimore.

I called back and spoke with the operator and explained the situation and she apologized to me and told me she had been receiving calls like this the whole day and that someone had cloned their number.

Is this related to my visit yesterday? Who knows. But I guess this is information is worth sharing with you guys.

BTW. I know I'm new here. I don't expect anyone to trust my information at this point. But I'll do my best to share my experiences regardless. I'm just a simple guy with basic needs.

This is very easy to do. Not hobby related, but I got a call from a guy about a week ago. Someone calling from my phone number told his wife they were with the IRS. He said they needed to pay their past due tax bill today or they were going to take their house. I tried to tell him how easy it was to change the CallerID to anything, but he would not listen. He insisted I call my provider and report it. I did and they told me the same thing I told him. This is incredibly easy to do and there was was nothing they can do to stop it. Never trust CallerID.
