This place has a new owner as of 12/2023 but the ladies and service remains the same. There is a message on the front desk that customers need to keep their underwear on but it is covered by a blank card. Ignore this guidance to allow the ladies to roam.

The article mentions a second Elegant spa location was raided in Columbia. I wasn't aware of a raid in Columbia; perhaps this was an error?

Regardless, it is shocking that police and court resources are focused on this while shoplifters and car thieves are allowed free reign. These ladies work extremely hard at difficult jobs that provide a way for other immigrants to make a better living for their families than they otherwise would be able to. The trafficking charge is always levied, but never with merit, and never sustained. These raids seem like a borderline extortion scheme that continues only because hard-working Asians are one the last groups to realize they can decline to be policed as virtually every other grievance-nurturing identity group has. What motivation do police have to spend their time this way?

Equally as shocking is why anyone who gets a massage would say anything different to police. That is some weird form of cowardice in the face of virtually no threat. They don't check your nether regions for massage oil. These cases never go to court. The police don't show up at your house or work place asking questions. There is no video evidence. The only thing they have against you is whatever outlandish story you tell them. If people can't figure this out, don't go to a massage place.

Massage parlors are easy targets. Gets a lot of publicity, and they sometimes can confiscate a nice amount of money.

The other spa was Daydreamer, on Main St. In Laurel, not Columbia. I went there a few times, and it was always strictly therapeutic. It was very clean, and the therapists were talented and professional. But the owners were connected with the one in Kensington.

Elegant did a lot of things wrong, but this was a "6-month joint investigation involving the Anne Arundel County and the City of Laurel Police Departments" - really!? This is what a bunch of cops are working on!

Also - "Detectives obtained multiple admissions of illicit sexual activity in exchange for USA Currency that occurred inside the business" - how many brothers blabbered?

The hobby feels dead already in MoCo. LEO needs to leave whoever is remaining be.

Thanks for reporting. I can't imagine anyone on this board is surprised. All reports have talked about how blatant that place has been. It was just a matter of time.

Took a quick look at Elegant last evening. As expected the place was dark.

I may cross-post this in the Northern Virginia forum, but it seems that the Elegant Spa in the "Boro" off Tysons Corner is now offering extras. It was strictly therapeutic for as long as I was going there, quite a while. Coincidence? Probably not. I hope it doesn't get so well-known that it gets raided like the one in Kensington.

Dreamt I visited Country Moon Spa on a muddy branch and didn't run into any luck here. Strictly massage with no room for afters. Lady I drew did give a good massage for an hour and did some light grazing of the boys, but on the flip, she covered everything up as much as she could. I asked about anything further and she said "no sir, we don't do that here" and proceeded to point the sign that said "No sexual solicitation is offered here. Anyone asking will be ask to leave and no refund will be given. " I thought the sign was a rouse for deterrence but apparently it's legit. I paid the house fee and left. They try and hit you with a 20% tip that's mandatory but I wasn't doing all that.

Anyways, a dream deferred here. Onto the next.

Drove by a place in the north end of the county called Healing Spring. Its new to me, don't spend a lot of time in that part of the world. Any experiences there?

I visited. They have been open about 3 months evidently. It is a good massage, but strictly therapeutic. When the lights went down on the flip, my intimation of self-service was met by a stern, "No. This nice store. For nice customer. " I am okay with this. The massage was solid, in a clean environment, with a competent therapist, for the full time. If you are looking for more (and honestly, you probably wouldn't with the two older ladies working here) --this is not the place.
