I don't doubt some of us have visited an AMP for a legit massage, but why? If the practitioner isn't licensed it's really just a back rub and without the extras is it worth the $60? I've been to plenty of legit, licensed masseuses and I can tell you it is 100% worth it. Without a doubt. No extras just a straight up massage. I've walked out of those places feeling like a billion bucks and I could totally understand why people would frequent a legit joint. And I could see people partaking in other Eastern remedies such as acupuncture, and the legit places are usually licensed. But one of these AMPs without the extras just doesn't make sense to me. Maybe I'm missing something?

I was surprised that they have been around for several months, but the reason they haven't shown up in reviews is that they are exactly what they advertise: straightforward massage therapy. In fact, for Asian massage therapy, their draping is on the fussy side. I prefer that the time spent on me, rather than folding and adjusting sheets. That said, it is a very nice experience. It is clean, the therapists are skilled and work very hard, and the tables are heated, which is nice this time of year. I personally have studiously respected the boundaries of the therapists I have seen, as they have spoken very little English and deserve that simple courtesy. Their reviews on Google and Yelp are honest and accurate.

I'm going to give it time. No way that place remains legit. There is no market for Asian massages without the HE. People to for the lure and see what happens when the ice finally breaks but if I want a legit massage I'm expecting a licensed practitioner. I don't mind supporting someone trying to make money for their family, but if I want a real massage, this isn't going to cut it. My guess is, it's a new place, they know the area can be hostile if you come in too hot, and they are just checking the lay of the land. RL was like that at one point. You MIGHT get a HJ back in the day and the provider stayed fully clothed, with little to no OTC touching. And that was all a big maybe. Before they got popped, you could go in there and the massage was optional. One of my last experiences I didn't realize how open the menu had become and no sooner did I lay down on the table and cover my buns with a towel, the provider whipped it off, told me to flip and hopped on for a ride. She literally said "skip the massage" and spoke about the details of our visit while she was butt naked and rolling a rubber on me. Even in one of my last visits to Silk which is known for GPS and not doing much more than nude HJs, the provider gave me prices for facesitting, BJ, FS, and HJs that were way more than I was willing to pay, but showed it was possible for the right price. It may not be that extreme, but all of that just to say, give it time.

Good to see your comment about respecting the Asian Ladies. Many are hard working and struggle to send money home to families. Many have left their children in China to work here. Difficult life for them.

By fussy, do you mean they are lax about it, and mostly massage you uncovered? That's enough for me.

I don't even like AMP's generally and have stuck with independents in the past but they are a very nice and clean facility, mostly with therapists that do a decent massage. Given the dearth of independents that are worth it, I'm happy with Royalty being what they are.

I definitely don't want them turning into another RL with this entire board waving a flag that says, "bust this shop. " If you need more, I would suggest hitting the ones in PG County. Howard County is not very tolerant of these places if they start seeing excessive foot traffic.

There was an escort close by for a bit but she moved to Dundalk.

Can anyone speak to her skills on that? I'm still going to take the plunge eventually but always interested in others' experiences.
