Two words "Revenue Enhancement". That is what LE called it where I lived before. They really did not mind the hobby, but each guy and lady caught in a sting got a $500 fine. A buddy got busted and he was one of the last his day in court. Almost thirty guys in just over a hour. If you did not have a lawyer, the judge would continue your case and tell you to get a lawyer if you did not want to go to prison. 20 some of them had lawyer. Charge reduced to disorderly conduct. One year probation and everything removed from your record if you were not arrested again during the year of probation and finally a $500 fine. The lawyers loved it, they charged you $250 to negotiate your plea. The city, court and police all got a share of the $500. Just a way for the city, the court, the police and your lawyer to screw you out of $750. My buddy found this all out from his brother who was his lawyer. His brother only charged him $100, but $250 was the standard fee. It may be different here, but I bet it is still mainly about the money.

You know, I've always been the quiet geeky guy, spending hours playing video games and reading books instead of going out to parties and shit like that. I find drinking to be a huge waste of time as well as casinos, I've had a few big hits for money in casinos but have probably broke even over the years and in general its not that great I haven't been in years. I'm the last person anyone would expect to be a monger. Yet I've predicted stings and have banged many hot escorts because instead of just replying to ads, I research the ads, which led me to identifying the operating systems they use. They use high end VOIP systems that you have to pay for that log responses. No hooker would ever dream of using such a system because most don't have the money or just wouldn't spend the money on something like that LOL. The vice life is not hard to navigate, literally all you have to do is use your big head and not your dick. Same for other vices such as gambling, just dont be a dumbass. I'm just amazed that he didn't think to run the number of the ad through a number lookup site or do literally any research at all, its like, with 30 years in law enforcement, he had to have ran a sting at some point? these stings are very easily avoided, it literally just takes not thinking with your dick. I stumbled upon this site by accident about a decade ago, by googling information on an escort and this site popped up in the google results. I do wonder if some day he stumbles upon this site and just shakes his head, amazed at not knowing just how truly easily avoidable the sting was at the time he fell for it. Not to mention fell for an electronic scam the night before the sting, which is the other biggest rookie mistake you could make.

Yes there are many LE in the hobby. (And theres nothing wrong with that! Shouldnt be illegal!) my favorite regular used to see a couple former sheriffs deputies that have ended up in stings. I dont see the point in enforcing what many high ranking officials partake in, especially with the spike in real crime. there is no point. Many probably read this board and for as many that dont like us, there are just as many that we are beloved to, here in our wonderful corner of the internet.

There is nothing at all that surprises me about this dude getting caught. Just surprises me that being out of town at a Po-po convention. That they only caught one cop in the sting. I've seen the Uncle conventions first hand. And I'm sure that most of them are straight and narrow. But. You get them out of town in a drinking, gambling Hooker rich environment. They do the same as un-uniformed guys. The little head does the thinking and leads the way.

There are definitely LE in the hobby. It has been 20 years ago, but I had a neighbor two doors away that was a cop. I use to help him with computer issues or when he needed a second pair of hands on a home improvement project.

The first time I fixed his computer, he took me to a juice bar. Juice bar served drinks with no alcohol. Girls in strip joints that served alcohol had to wear a g-string and pasties. Girls in juice bars could get totally nude. I did not even know about this juice bar. It was above an adult bookstore with video booths. The videos booths had doors you could open between the booths. You could take a lady down for a "private dance". She was in one booth and you in another. It was supposed to be watch only, but once they knew you, you could get a HJ or BJ.

I also helped him remodel one of his bathrooms. He took me to a place I had never seen a review on a couple times until we finished his bathroom. You only got in the first time if you came with someone they knew. They had a door with a small head high door in it, so they could see who was at the door. It was an old fashioned whorehouse. He paid my way, because he got the 25% LE discount. He took me to several other places I did not know about. I really missed helping him when we moved.

Not surprised since they are men after all. I had a similar experience in El Salvador. Went to one which was a hair salon but was infact a front for low rent whorehouse. A local cop came in and to my surprise just asked how were the girls.

A bit different experience in culture. But in Latin America laws are more relaxed for this environment. Cops banging hookers would be a perk or an incentive instead of ridiculed in the US.

Grady Judd is an often discussed top cop in Polk County, Florida. This is what he does and everybody in the Florida forum knows it. Big time theatrics. If somebody can point to some data that demonstrates they have busted any human trafficking, I'd appreciate seeing a link.

The disappointing thing is that there are some good places to visit in Polk county.

I recommend that everybody on this forum watch that video. It's long and repetitive, but it provides good lessons on what not to do.
