I check out the phili boards every now and then and someone brought up doublelist.com. Has anyone tried it? I checked it out last noght and theres so much more now than there was yesterday. Guess its oicking up.

It's like CL with all the fake ads. I don't even see one that smells legitimate. Now I know where to post to get a bunch of spammy replies. I will check it out from time to time but at this point, I'm not too optimistic.

I used to get a good bit of action off modeling gig ads, but I do not want my actual card info tied to any of my posts. I saw they will not allow pre-paid cards on craigslist which means it's more about information than money.

Anyway, does anyone know a good alternative to find girls for nude modeling? I'm already on Model Mayhem, but looking more for finding "undiscovered" or "amateurs". Thanks in advance.

Yea things are going to be mixed up for a while, but these activities have been going on since forever, someone will figure out how to get things up and running again. Losing Craigslist is not hurting my feelings much, most of the ads were fakes anyway. So I'm spending my time going over notes and saved sites, getting numbers together of former and current Lady "friends" . So I will be recycling for a while until something breaks.

Met up with this non pro a few weeks ago. I met on Craigslist during the good old days when Craigslist had a personals section. Anyway, I'd be willing to trade her number for someone fun. Those sites are covered by the new law assuming the prez signs it.

We will see a return to the bad old days with people disguising some ads to make them look like other more innocent ads. For example the real massage / non happy ending massage providers will end up having to have their ads in the same places as the kind of massages we like.

The ads won't go away and we may bet lucky and somebody like the ACLU will successfully challenge it but I see things being a mess for a while until they get better. Expect to look for ads inplaces where you didn't see them and expect there to be more misunderstandings about posted ads in places where people can still hook up.

A horny monger seeking a consenting adult is very different than human traffic. Wait till some sen or congressman gets busted in DC because he can't find the reliable providers he used to frequent. Those idiots will shoot themselves in the foot just as quickly as they will do so to us. All because they want to pander to some prudes who don't want people to have sex outside of priests molesting little boys or pastors screwing the ladies in the choir.

This will be a pain for us for a while but it will bite them in the ass soon enough.

I wonder if this ultimately will extend to sites like WYP and SA. The girls are going to advertise somewhere. I know I've met several SW on these sites already.

Politicians want to make a big splash with little effort. All the religious people know about CL and, perhaps to a lesser extent, BP; so pols will cater to what their voters know or think they know and they will get credit for having done something even if they, inadvertently, made things worse.

With some luck, on our parts, some enterprising person will come up with a good replacement and we can get back to fooling around. I don't know much about the software or the business but I think Jackson is on to something by hosting this site off shore somewhere. I predict something similar for personals and ads like them.

The worst part about it is that CL got people together easily and without credit cards or lots of personal information. Frankly I think CL, and the internet in general, helped to lessen the amount of SWs in SW neighborhoods; once everyone could go online the dangerous activity or going out on the streets was less appealing. The dopes in congress don't care about what local pols have to do; they only care what makes them look good in the eyes of the most vocal voters. My other prediction? Look for a rise in SW activity for better or worse. Remember all of the complaints about BP girls being not much better than SWs? That's because the SWs were safer off of the streets. Congress is just drumming up business for SWs, local police and local governments.

We can get an easy start by encouraging providers to use USASG classifieds.

According to this site, the bill has passed both houses of Congress but has yet to be acted on by the president. Who knows what the current occupant of the White House will do, especially with Stormy Daniels and Karen McDougal in the news.

I agree this sucks, and not in a good way. Craigslist has dropped its personal ads; Backpage could follow with its ads if the bill is signed into law. On the other hand, perhaps some enterprising lawyer or legal foundation could use this as the vehicle to have the courts strike down laws prohibiting consenting adults behavior simply because an exchange of money occurs. Stay tuned.
