Downtown AMPs are a little more pricey and generally on lower on customer service. Since you were walking downtown, your choices were limited. Metairie has a few places that give very good massages, but HE only. NOLA East has better full service places, but that's a cab ride from the quarter.

Greetings, all you NOLA mongers. I normally post in the Northern Virginia (NoVA) boards, but I had occasion to spend a few days in the Crescent City and, once again, enjoy some of your city's fantastic food (as well as some of the good jazz on Frenchmen Street). One night, while walking along Decatur Street on the way back to my hotel, I noticed a sign on a side street (Iberville). So, I detoured and decided to take a chance. The establishment, depending on the sign above the door or the sign in the second-story window, was named either Bangkok Spa or Sun Bangkok Spa. Regardless, it is located at 509 Iberville.

A medium-height Asian gal, whom I later found out was Vietnamese, came to the door and let me in. She was at least a 36 C, reasonably attractive, and appeared to be about mid-30's. I believe she gave her name as Judy. Anyway, she had me sign-in on a clipboard in the foyer, and then took me upstairs. The house fee was. 6 for the "hour" (which did not last anywhere near that long). The entire interior was rather dim and dank, and the room with its high ceilings had the appearance of a basic flophouse room. I imagine that a lot of sweat and other DNA has been released within that room. At any rate, the towels on the bed were new, and she had me undress and get comfortable on the bed while she took the house fee to wherever they keep the money. When she returned, she gave a perfunctory massage on my back and legs, using a bit too much of a scented lotion, before prompting me to turn over. At that point, she then said that a HJ would be. 6 tip. I agreed and she proceeded to apply lotion to Junior Roman. I asked if any other options were available, and she said "Yes", but the price of $$. 5 for CFS was not enticing. When I reached up to lower her top and expose the headlights, she said that it would be another. 4 for that. I told her that I only had what I'd brought and that, in NoVA, exposed headlights was the norm in the AMPs there. She said that she would remove her top, but said that in NOLA (and especially with Asian establishments) it was normally extra.

The HJ was unremarkable, and she kept asking "Are you okay?" every 30 seconds. After about 3 minutes, she claimed that her hand was getting tired and said I needed to help. I did for a bit, but eventually put things back into her hands. Ultimately, I achieved Shangri-La and she provided a wet cloth to clean up. Afterwards, I got dressed, tipped her, and she showed me to the door.

Would I return to this establishment? No, not if I lived next door or even had a room within that establishment. Asian spas might be scarce in NOLA, but this place isn't the one to visit. The gal mentioned that most of their customers are guys in town for conventions. My advice: Look elsewhere.

It is an AMP. It's on Chef Hwy. I've been there 4 or 5 times. The girls has always been attractive and the service is right to the point. If you are visiting you may want to rent a car because if believe a cab ride out there would cost a fortune. There are a few other places on Chef that I've always wanted to try but when I'm there it is always for a short visit so I always go to the "pad" because I known the service is good. I may toftt on my next vist. Maybe.

Thanks for the guidance regarding Lily Pad. Not having a car, I was unable to make the commute to Chef Highway. I did however make a stop by the Penthouse club in the French Quarter. Maybe things are locked down because of recent police action with the Bourbon Street strip clubs, but I saw attractive dancers but very limited fun in the VIP. I certainly hope the NOLA massage parlors are more interesting than the strip clubs.
