Went to 7th St recently and the girls were topless. It's been a little over a year since I went to a strip club in Louisville, but back then no girls got topless. Anyone know what changed?

Also, had a great experience at Wild Horse Saloon.

I was in 7th street area early Tuesday afternoon. Started at Thoroughbreds and there were about 7 dancers working the day shift decent variety of age, shape, and ethnicity. The same complaints as have been generally noted about Louisville clubs in general. No girls actually dancing on stage and each girl looking for a $20 drink for a conversation and then pushing for the 30 min VIP. Not too over the top with the drink hustle but you will definitely be asked to buy a girl a drink in the first 5 minutes. Indvidual lap dances are not really offered. I am sure they are available but just found it odd that it was never mentioned. On the upside there was no cover since it was the afternoon. Downside they have closed the smoking area to customers. This was probably the best area to get a feel for if the girl was open to takeout or extras. Had two drinks over an hour and left.

Since Foxy Lady was close I thought I would see if it had better options. Unfortunately, there were only two girls when I arrived and later increased to 4. Two petite black girls, one petite white girl, and an older latina women. If you like the spinner body type then the selection while smaller than Thoroughbreds definitely better at Foxy Ladys. No girls dancing on stage and the lady drink prices were $30. The lap dance area looked less than stellar. No cover charge and the drinks were two for one. Only lasted 30 minutes and bounced.

How much for the 30 min VIP? Do they have private rooms or booths for that?

Going to a strip club is like paying to go in to an all you can eat buffet but only being able to look at the food. Maybee, if you're lucky, touch it and smell it but not taste or eat.

Gods, I'm glad I'm not stuck going to those types of clubs.

Honestly, neither. Bottoms Up is a mystery. The rumor was that Churchill Downs bought it to shut it down. I fully believed that. First, why did they care? The club was far enough away not to shine a bad light on the track. Second, the building sat vacant forever. If Churchill bought it, they would have used their political influence to get permit to renovate or demolished the building in record time. But lack of business or lack of girls was not a problem.

Green Light closed after a shooting in the club which resulted in the manager (and maybe owner?) dying. The club shut down for a while and it just never opened again. Now it is Sugga Land. I know nothing about that place.

My understanding is that the owners of Bottom's Up let their permits / licenses expire, why, I don't know. Greenlight did close because of the shootout, and I knew Dion personally so that's an especially sad circumstance. Big loss for his family and friends.

But there have been a lot of other closures over the last 5 years. Prior to COVID. Hot Legs (Hit or miss, but I had a few fun times there) and Sin Dyn, Red Door, River Girls (Better off Closed), Trixie's (Crazy fun, uptight, crazy fun, closed), Glass Slipper (Lots of hot girls 10 yrs ago, a hot bartender took it as a personal challenge to get me off during a 3 song lap dance at 2 pm w no dancers) Now open occasionally, can't keep track of the name.

Wild Horses. Can't keep track of whether it's open or closed.

Fantasy Island. Very hit or miss, even in it's last days. Thoroughbred II is now Pussycats. Same owner. Next door Thoroughbred III closed, but for a long time it was a very convenient alternative to TB II!

The Dollhouse / Crazy Coconuts. Many fun times had there!

Win, Place & Show and now Deja Vu after the fire.

And the Body Shop and Phats. More than 5 years for Phats.

I think a lot of the older dancers at a lot of the closed clubs had regulars and moved on or their health / substance issues caught up with them. I know several fairly popular dancers who just got regular jobs.

A lot of the new girls are immigrants, especially Cubans, or want to be Instagram Influencers. Or have Only Fans Pages.

A lot of the great dancers have retired, mostly bc they got old. The new generation is a different animal than we old men are used to dealing with.

You do raise a good point, back when Bottoms Up and Green Light were still open and before the owner of Blue Diamond ruined what was a great extras club, those were three clubs you could walk into and know 2/3's (or more?) of the girls on there put out. With those two of those three clubs closed and the other ruined, it does take a bit more investigative information gathering to find the strippers who will put out at the other clubs. In time you will figure it out. Their are two really HUGE clues you can watch for when a dancer and a customer go into VIP. One is something the dancer will do, the other is something the customer might do. Because of possible police or Southeast Christian snoops on here, I don't know think I should post them here but if you are a senior whose contributions make it obvious you are not in one of those two camps, send me a private message.

People poo pooed all over Fantasy Island back in the day, but you would fine a lot of diamonds in the rough there. Sundays sometimes would be incredible. When the other clubs were closed girls would go work there for that day and were down for anything for pennies on the dollar.
