So. Its has been several years since I hit the strip clubs in Louisville. I had some free time last night, the wife is out of town, so thought I would hit a few to see what was up these days. First stop was Foxy Lady, and it was ok. $5 cover, talked to Kebrie (sp?) behind the bar. We know each other from way back. She hasn't aged in years! Anyway, dancers weren't impressive, so I bolted for Thorobred Lounge. The Good: large number of dancers, and several were very hot. The Bad: Please don't take this as me being racist or discriminatory. But the Mexican / Cuban dancers / clientele made the atmosphere less than desirable. I have nothing against them in general. As a matter of fact, in recent years I have been a patron of clubs in South Florida, and they are filled with Cuban dancers. But I never got a vibe down there like I did last night. First thing that happened as I walked to the bar and past a couch / table with 3 dudes and 4 dancers, one of the dancers looked at me, spread her lags, started slapping her pussy (hard), and yelling something very loud (in Spanish) and all 7 started laughing their asses off. Honestly, I felt like they were making a joke at my expense, but since I couldn't understand, who knows. I ignore them. I get to the bar, and there are approx 4 Latina dancers and 5-6 Latino dudes all gathered around. One of the guys (presumably drunk), stares me down and says something in Spanish. One phrase. I look at him, and say I don't understand. He says it again with more force. I just look at him. He extends his hand for a handshake, and I shake his hand. He squeezes TIGHT and is looking me in the eye. Almost to see if I would backdown, whimper, or whatever. I felt like he was trying to intimidate me or trying to start some shit. I am 60,5'6", and never been in a fight in my life, so not sure what he was trying to prove. I am no threat to anyone. Anyway, I turn away from him, order my beer and move to another area. Meanwhile, the table of 7 is still making comments to me and laughing. So I move to another area. I sit facing the stage at a bar stool with my back to a long table (empty), and after about 30 seconds, I get a tap on my shoulder. Hispanic dude behind me motions with his arm, pointing to the seat next to him, and says "sit", pointing at the chair, I decline, and ignore him. I then move again. Drunk dude from before walks up to me with a pool cue in his hands. I am thinking "oh fuck, he is going to crack me over the head with it". , Instead, he wants to hand it to me. I say "no". He tries again. I say "no". He says "play with me", I explain I don't want to play pool. So now I am thinking he wants to start a friendship! LOL. I don't fucking know!

The Latina dancers would pretty much only interact with the latinos, which is a shame, because several were smoking hot, and I would have bought some dances. The whole vibe to me was weird, because after hitting strip clubs for over 30 years, I have never had so much interaction with other patrons. Maybe its cultural, but I want to drink my beer alone, watch and chat with dancers, and perhaps get some dances or get laid. I am not sure that I would go back.

The guy offering you to play pool was probably trying to hustle you if anything.

As far as the Latina dancers only working with Latinos, that's pretty common. I've seen it myself when I drunkenly end up in strip clubs that are mainly Latina. I think a lot of it just has to do with the language barrier and that some white guys come off as LE. I probably would've left a lot sooner than you if I was experiencing what you went through. Got to learn how to read the room.

Before it became an all black club I had occasionally gotten OTC there also. Went in there a few years ago and it had become an all black club except for one white girl who was a little much overweight. I think she might have done OTC, but her weight and acne made her not very attractive.

If OTC was available back then, that may just be that club's culture. When I was there, it was pretty dead but there were like 10 girls. I took one into VIP for nude dance and asked what time she got off. But she did tell me all girls do OTC / extras for the extra money. She actually told me I shouldn't have gotten VIP because the dancers only get like half of the VIP rate whereas I could've just been upfront when I started talking to her on the floor about my intentions and save the money I spent on VIP and add it to the extras fee. LOL.

A relatively long while ago when I lived in Lexington, Lexington was not so great when it came to OTC experience and everyone would say "go to Louisville. You'll have a much better time there and OTC is almost always available. " With the great decline of the Louisville clubs would I now have a much better time if I were to go to Lexington?
