While I normally like to be paid to volunteer, I would be willing to simply pitch in for the good of all here. Where do I sign up for meal deliveries?

I believe they get that offer for help often, they seem to be good sports.

I found their Facebook site, they are called Scarlet Hope.

I was looking at the Facebook site of the church ladies who deliver food to the strip clubs each Thursday. One of their posts said two strip clubs recently closed. Which two?

Why would they care? There'll be two more girls along any minute to replace each one that leaves.

That may be their philosophy. I just figured club owners and managers would get nervous about losing top earners. I always assumed the 80/20 rule applied there too ie. 20% of the dancers make 80% of the clubs money.

Thanks for the response. That is interesting, but I guess I wonder why the owners/managers would allow them to do that if their intention was in fact to eventually try to persuade the dancers to give up the profession.

I have wondered the same thing.

In any case, it's a nice thing for them to do.

Dancers I have talked to say they are not judgemental. When asked about stripping, I believe the church ladies will say they don't agree with dancing but understand most of the women in the clubs are in situations where they may have no choice when raising kids or other family members.

Perhaps they are talking about Classy Lady and Dixie Bell. Both have been turned into sports bars.

My guess is they are from either Southeast Christian or the Baptist Seminary. My guess is they are hoping to lead the girls out of the clubs by befriending them. Along with Thursday meals in Christmas, Valentines Day and other holidays they put together gift bags for the dancers and bar help.

The dancers seem to like them.
