Hit up Pussycat when I arrived in town. Cool bartender named Jewels who I had met before. One dancer on duty named Envy. Probably a 4 in the looks dept. She eventually went and put on make-up so she easily bumped up to a 4. 25. Eventually did a VIP dance with her since there wasn't anything else with T&A willing to get naked. $100 for VIP for:30 minutes. As soon as we get back there, she said she requires tips up front and they tips start at $100. I said no, I do t tip up front. Gave her $40 but it really rubbed me the wrong way, so after she acted like a brat, I called it quits about 3 minutes into our time back there. When I walked out onto the floor, the bartender looked at me like I did something wrong. Don't really care, but I hate GPS and hope that bar suffers until it's eventual demise.

I wish it was 2009/2010 the clubs were amazing, customer service, eye candy, extras and to a lesser extant personal safety. Now all but PTs have the feel that you could get hep C, robbed or ripped off for services offered but not given. Blue diamonds is the only one currently wroth going to just for drinks and getting numbers for outside takeout. Recently It's literally a pool of the same 15/20 girls jumping from club to club. Also the current demand for Hank makes most of the girls extremely pushy and unwilling or unable to actually dance. Most just hang outside or will sit at the bar. Tips out.

Yeah, I agree that Blue Diamond is probably the most consistently good club on 7th Street. Foxy Lady is close, but management is a little more tolerant of drug use than BD's. FL will put up with it if it doesn't cause a problem. I've seen girls get fired at BD because a customer complained. BD seems like death on heroin, which I like. That doesn't mean there aren't girls hiding it, of course, but it seems harder there. Among other things, the girls' bags are searched when they come in the club to work.

While there is, in fact, a group of girls who rotate clubs, that group is mostly comprised of the ones who can't keep a job at any one club for long. Most of the clubs have a cadre of decently clean and reliable girls who have been there a while.

And the demand for heroin is one of the reasons I tend to go to clubs instead of seeing escorts. It's far easier to detect the signs when you can sit and talk to the girls before deciding anything. Tougher to do that with escorts you've never met.

Heard from a dancer that the VIP prices at FL are going up. The hour will be 220 and 90 minutes will be 315, I think she said. 160, the old hour price, will now only get you 45 minutes.

I don't know if the price gouge is permanent, or just a temporary cash grab for Farmers and / or Derby. My guess is permanent, but one can hope. Sucks either way.

I still feel like FL has the best value for Non VIP dances. The 2 for 30 dance and 4 for 60 (semi-private) options are very reasonable to me. The 2 for 30 allows me to get a good feel for what a girl might not or not do during a 60 or 120. Everyone has their own thing, but I've never gone for any VIP over 120. Whatever I can't get in 30 minutes I'm probably not going to get in 1 hour IMO. At that point I just go for the takeout option.

Body Language Lounge Update

Dream (the ex dancer / bartender / manager) has settled on a Thur-Monday schedule. Club opens around 10, but dancers aren't usually dressed or on stage til around 11 or 1120.

It's still mostly just dancers doing stage sets, but she is allowing pay as you go dances at the bar and couches. Basically as long as you have a stack of ones ready a dancers will come up and dance on you. When you're done just says thanks and she'll move on.

She expecting more out of town talent from Ciny, Indy and Nashville this weekend.

Dancers drinks are the same price as regular drinks, no drink pushing (thank god).

Cover charge is $10 on Friday and Saturday and $5 other nights.

Still needs to get more tables and chairs so people don't have to stand when it starts to get crowded.

They did add an ATM machine this week.

They have one of those old Dollhouse / Bottoms up booths setup for semi private VIP but I don't know what they charge for it. I didn't see it get used when I was there.

If it wasn't obvious in my earlier reports, this club has mostly Black dancers and patrons, but this is NOT the old Dollhouse or Wildhorse crowd. Mostly older (30+) customers and some couples. As I said before, If you remember Fatz on Broadway in the 2000's, this a similar environment to that.

I know this isn't everyone's cup of tea, but I'm cheering for her to succeed. Mostly because Louisville needs an alternative to drink pushing, crank cafe's some of these clubs have become.

I frequently find myself saying this. Rarely go anymore. When pickings are slim I'll do some recon and rarely get lucky. To each their own. But prices be getting in the extremely greedy and stupidly high range.

It might be a temporary price gouge effect. I guess I"ll know more at the beginning of next month when I have biz for 2 days up in L'ville. If it's going to stay in place, I might skip that place & not spend my travel per diem on 'them.

Yeah, they appear to have an inconsistent schedule. They were open this weekend Thursday thru Sunday 11 or 12 to 4 or 5.

They had Mike Epps (The actor / comedian) stop by the club after his concert Friday night.

They had some out of town girls in there Saturday night. Cincy and Nashville. If they can bring in out of town talent consistently I'll give them a shot.

The out of town girls are mostly here because of Farmers, though there's a couple that have been coming up Tennessee for a couple months. Same will be true, and then some, for Derby.
