Have a question to ask. I received a text early this morning from an Alexa asking if I wanted to meet. I've not met an Alexa recently. I might have texted her to see if she was available before, but never met. Then, later this morning got another one word text "Alexa. " When I looked into the details for the number so I could check it out, I.

Realized it was a group text to about 20 numbers. The two texts came from two different numbers. Each group had the other number in it. I thought it was odd to get a text from a provider that I didn't initiate. So, I thought might smell like bacon.

When I did a Google search on each number nothing definitive came back. I was anticipating a and adult services review site to come back, but it didn't. Just general stuff like who called me sites.

I've been regretting lately using my personal cell phone numbers to contact providers. Wishing I had set up a separate google voice number or the like to use just for this purpose.

Hopefully, I'm just being overly cautious here. Thought I'd ask here to see if anyone else had been included on the group texts or been contacted by an Alexa.

Any thoughts?
