Don't give up on this location. New providers arrive frequently and competition for clients with new shops makes anything possible. Continue to be polite and respectful and I think you will be surprised.

I wouldn't waste my time in that town, not been there on very long time, pretty much nothing worth pursue there, your pretty much go have travel far away, outstate, maybe a little there, Madison, Chicago, maybe Rockford, KCMO, st Louis, Iowa is worthless joke, an ones on skip in this state know your pretty well fuc screwed an can charge arm an leg with no problem get it from fools that support them.

Any one got a line on a nice looking provider for FS or BBBJ at least tired of negotiating for a so-so HJ please pm me details thanks and be safe out there.

There is the city license ordinance back in 2019 and also the bad publicity for Jenny before that. As far as speculation on the owners, I do wonder if it's more fear of ratting on each other than coming to an agreement (see the earlier post "tired of getting BJs" which looked like a fishing expedition).

That leaves Hiawatha as the outlier but IME in the past and from other reports it appears they are staying at L1. It'd be nice to be proven wrong.

Edit: it also doesn't help if the majority of customers keep showing up anyway.

Yes.

They don't want to get caught because it is a kiss of death for working at ANY parlor in CR. Marion & Hiawatha would probably enact similar restrictions should a parlor show up there.

CP isn't included in any ordinance but they are still playing by the rules. It's pretty much the same in Waterloo, & Iowa City too, and they don't have an ordinance.

Marion don't need no stinking ordinances, they just bust you.

I also wonder if overall customer behavior plays a part. It was a disgruntled customer who made legal trouble for Jenny (in Marion, no less). He even had the balls to visit her again when she moved over to Cedar Rapids. I was there, got her all riled up, ruined my session.

Agree with both you guys. More than once, my LT has mentioned they all talk to each other. And even flag clients as to problems. They too read websites, and know who is drawing attention to problems. I'm all for sharing positive experiences without too much details putting a target on them.

What do you think is limiting the CR experience? I don't see LE having that much oversight, although there may be informal agreements in place. The individual providers seem to be always in transition, so I do not suspect they organize limits. My suspicion is that the owner (s) are the limiting factor. I suspect common ownership (Cedar, 6th Street, A+, CP) and IC locations. The most likely limiting factor in my opinion is an agreement between the few owners in the area. What business do you think might be the outlier and more responsive to its new customers?

I was at A+ this weekend. Looks like it's Leena and a younger gal, both nice looking. Flirty, but I get the feeling it's only up to a point that will never leave the CR-experience range. I dunno, every QC place has spoiled me.
