Location: 1030 and. Markland Kokomo, Indiana; Speedway Gas station.

Date / Time of Incident: June 7, 2022 at approximately 2:42 pm.

On June 7, 2022, at about 2:42 pm, officers of the Kokomo Police Department were dispatched to the Speedway gas station at 1030 and. Markland street in regards to a young woman soliciting s*x in exchange for a full tank of gas.

According to independent witnesses, twenty-five year old Sasha Manning of Kokomo approached an older male at gas pump #6. After a small conversation between the two, witnesses say the suspect loudly offered the older male some 'good-good' in exchange for a full tank of premium unleaded. When the older male didn't know what 'good-good' meant he asked Ms. Manning and she made a crude gesture and replied "this {explicit} Grandpa. " The victim then made a call to dispatch and officers arrived a short time after and arrested Ms. Manning on one charge of attempted prostitution.

Detectives said while they had Ms. Manning In custody they asked her why she would subject herself to this and her answer was. "That guy couldn't have screwed me any harder than our President is right now. ".

Sasha is out on bond I was so moved by this young ladies predicament that I called in some favors got her into a condo building beside Costco on belvedere drive Kokomo.

Turns out rents nearly as much as a tank of gas.

I wondering why this situation is posted in Indy and not the Kokomo board? Seems there's an unsubstantiated rumor that the old man in the story is actually Roy Cat.

I wanta emphasize this is only a rumor Roy Cat is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law or at least on Judge Judy.

That particular location is a true dump and I would not go there if I could get served for 30-cents. I went once and felt lucky to get away. Very seedy characters.

Lesson to be learned here. Don't carry $500 on your person to see a $2 hoe. Only carry what you're going to donate.
