I was overseas in Asia last year and there locanto is more famous and BP and craigslist are much less used. I see indianapolis page but not much action there. Also saw doublelist posting ads and seems to be picking up but they say it's a beta testing. I replied on few ads there but never heard back. Seems like a automated postings at the moment to get the traffic to their site. I think BP and CL will re emerge by hosting from overseas.

Don't expect President Trump to veto it. It passed the House 388-25 (14 Republicans and 11 Democrats voting against it) and it passed the Senate 97-2 (1 Republican and 1 Democrat voting against it).
I know Trump might not be popular with many of you, but he's not a fool-- he won't oppose legislation that passed with that kind of a majority. (If he does, I'll be surprised-- and if he does, both houses of congress will simply override his veto.).
Sadly, the bill conflates sex trafficking with prostitution and was supported by Hollywood liberals as well as the Religious right.
The only way this gets struck down is via the courts. Look for the ACLU to file a lawsuit almost immediately.
Here are some other articles about it that I found of interest:

Good luck mongers.

News is reporting the FBI raided the founder of Backpages home and shut down the site.
Apparently they are only good at messing with Backpage.
