What the deal at this place? Is it the normal dive Mexican bar that has girls that work for drinks?

I've been there several time to watch a friends band play. Yes it's like 90% Mexicans. Like any place most are there to have a good time but just watch out if you start talking to a girl that she's not with some of the gangbangers that frequent there. All the hot chicks I've seen there were either with dudes or with their group of female friends that will cock block. There may be some girls for hire there but I haven't personally spotted them. Careful when leaving too, people get robbed.

Why are there none? I heard there were a few that got shut down years ago for prostitution. Why not create a legit strip club in Lake County / Gurnee area? That would make a KILLING.

Yeah, the Lake County Board pretty much legislated them out of existence with an extensive ordinance which all but outlawed them. That said the two veteran clubs, Baby Dolls (Wadsworth) & Dancers (Palatine) were horrible rip-offs that we are better off without. There were a couple of clubs in the mid 90's (Scores in Mundelein & the Splash Club in Island Lake) that were decent hole in the wall rural clubs. You're best bet would be to check out our neighbors to the north in Walworth County & around Milwaukee.

That sucks, it would be such a great money maker if ran properly without the illegal shit going on. I heard about baby dolls, but from what I understand they closed? Anyway, I'll need to read into it, if it seems plausible, I may just open a joint myself. We'll see.

They had a few in the area years ago, one of the girls that I see regularly told me that they closed down when Lake Co. Issued laws of limited interaction with customers. Simply they couldn't come around looking for tips from you anymore, and lap dances were all non-contact. Girls moved to other clubs, guys lost interest without having interaction and that was it. The place in Kenosha closed for a remodel or had a new space but the city had zoning issues. In other words they forced the place out of business by creating legislation that takes forever to work through.

In Wadsworth where the porn store is they had a club in the next building called Baby Dolls, that was where my girl transferred from after the law changed. She then moved from the Kenosha club to Milwuakee looking for clubs to work in.
