Always a good thing to have a dependable and nice person to lean on when needed. She's always been very cool laid back and simply just reliable. 15 mins from me on any given day and always answers my text. Sad thing her BF was killed in a hit and run. But she's a great girl. Again reliable to the core. Saw her the other day and she's doing OK despite bouncing on the Mann hotel room bounce they all tens to so in that area. BBBJ always on point and mileage for me is always minimal.

The last few years have not been kind to her. Drugs & street life took more than a toll on her.

A week ago Saturday morning, I saw her around the corner from Tony's Supermarket passed out on the sidewalk. She was there for over 3 hours.

Her family tried several times to help her, but she refused.

A very sad ending.

I had always seen here staggering around back and forth sometimes drifting into the roadway. Sad way for her life to end but she is definitely in a better place now that is for sure. May she rest in peace.

I am sorry to hear this. The streets are brutal and will show no mercy. It's tragic she did not get help and then to die like this is very sad. Rest in Peace, I just hope she is in a better place.

Agree with you on Stone Park, Stanley! It bears repeating for those who read or stumble upon the Melrose Park forum: when you drive up and down Mannheim, the one-mile patch of road between North Avenue to the north and Lake Street to the south is Stone Park's jurisdiction and the 30 mph speed limit is strictly enforced. Whenever I drive through there (for example, when on my way to Carl's), I set my cruise control for 30--not 31, but 30!

So when one leaves carl's just stay in that right lane and drive a steady, slow path because they will also stop for a drifting right to left of center just to see if you're stinking especially up in franklin. It's been so crazy with the snow in the past month that I have seen nothing whatsoever. Now that it is nice I will cruise more and report in. I will usually see that cubbie hat dirty blonde walking on the east side near the shell and speedway and on the same side near the sos I have also seen what was known as either pochohanas or possibly another black, young, thin female with very red braids or extensions or whatever that is called. Interested in seeing what that new place on the corner just west of scores will be like clientele wise. It doesn't appear to be another shot and a beer joint so maybe it would be worth checking in just to see if a girl or two needs help with money for the machines. For a friend. He ran into a Hispanic SW on Mann went to a local notel and before he could blink she was out the door robbed him of a little over a $. He saw her hop in a gray car with a young white guy. Small sedan type. Apparently he followed them to the notel and waited for her to pull the okey doke. She went full put like it was legit you til they got to the notel where he went to bathroom to take a piss and like a veteran thief she was out the door. He was stupid for leaving the cash on the counter. Hispanic, red hair, long black coat brown purse, tattoos everywhere on hands and neck. Be careful.

Also wondering if the up tick in this sort of thing is because the bikini bars have dried up with no dancers as last reported here. As mentioned carl's has them the last reported. In a way maybe your friend was blessed by leaving the cash on the table as it might have escalated later on when they were either doing the deed and he was already in his birthday suit. This sort of set up, especially with all the known LEO presence, I am thinking this couple were not from around here. I have seen the following literally! Also really imo there is no way I would enter and sign in to one of the stop and flops along the strip. I mean there are some real hotels up further north say of grand on the east side, however these kitchenette type places and all of the little day rate joints I am not even turning into the parking lot. I talked to one of dart's boys when one of the flop houses burned down and he was blocking the street. Young guy and he knows that all of those joints and even apartment complexes are very sketchy. I am truly sorry to hear about your friend. I no longer shop on Manheim. If the girls are not trying to rip you off (your friend is not alone) they are asking for mucho dollars for limited service. It's been a number of years since I found a girl worth the dollars and / or drama.

This is one of the reasons I stopped Manheim altogether. That and the heavy LEO presence as well. No reason for me to go back there ever again. Sorry for your friend. I to, have been ripped off as well. Tired of that nonsense.

I live in Melrose Pk and I take 19th toward Roosevelt on days that I got to go to Loyola Hospital. On occasions I'd see ladies walk around the liquor store on 19th and St Charles. I didn't make a thing cause it's not a known spot. Today I had a appointment and saw a sexy thick WSW which was mind blowing cause of the location and well I went for it. 30 damage for a full quick. Went to town on her. She said she was 20's LOL funny but ok. Did the deed and went our separate way. On the way back saw another walker this time a embody thick beauty. Didn't partake. Low funds but next time for sure.
