Never had an agency go so far as to ask for references, once they verify the background information and they are satisfied, its a go. Seems like the run around to have to provide a reference.

I don't know what their criteria is for client approval. It was all very open in the earlier days of the agencies. I just sent a photo of myself in Kiev.

After calling the handler, I would probably text over whatever information I was willing to share. If it doesn't happen, try again at a later date.
