Been reading the news and came across a great idea. Lots of cities and jurisdictions are pushing to cut funds from law enforcement budgets and instead take those funds and put the money in programs that actually help communities. Wouldn't that be great if our legislators and council members cut the law enforcement budgets in Hawaii by 20% and put that money into programs that actually made Hawaii better.

The government could easily cut some of these showboat police programs like the Maui Morals Unit and whatever unit Nadimoto is using to hassle old ladies at spas and instead use that money to fund programs to prevent sexual violence and sexual predators. The state legislature should audit these programs and find out how much money the State of Hawaii has paid Nadimoto and his agents for his crack down that hasn't uncovered or prevented one single case of human trafficking and in reality has just been an extended publicity stunt that Nadimoto is preforming (at tax payer expense) to try to get elected.

Cut the police budget. Audit and cut these showboat law enforcement programs that are actually harming women. Use the money saved to help and empower those that are most vulnerable.

I believe the COVID-19 reopening regulations will require restaurants, bars, hair & nail salons, and other medium risk businesses to maintain detailed logs of their customers which will be used by Government health departments for contact spread databases.

I think you may get shut out of many of these businesses if you refuse. Gyms will already have that information on file as soon as you check in, but restaurants, bars, and hair salons won't and will need that info. I suppose you could lie and give them fake info, however you may find yourself on the news like so many other tourists who refused to comply with quarantine laws.

You are right. Nadamoto clearly has an agenda here and it is to get elected by creating fake news headlines to make him look good. Don't fall for it and don't vote for him. Everybody with half a brain already figured out the only incident with trafficking conviction was EMPIRE. The other place busted for bribing a federal officer.

Wondering what happened to the ads for this group. Is this one of those in the bust? Haven't heard back from one of them and I have reached out several times. If someone can confirm if they got lit up by the popo?

Looks like the LE activity at CC has spooked many of the legit MT and non legit MT as Ads seems to have disappeared from most sites with exception of the Chinese Connection but probably be next on their list. I've texted called couple places but no reply so safe to assume they're laying low. Only places with active Ads are those rip off short time Thai places in Aiea and Pearl City side but YMMV. With under cover loitering around and their CCTV at all floors of Century Center, looks like that spot be off limits for most of us considering the climate and LE focus not including their poor enforcement with beach and park incidents as of late. Eventually a second wave be coming at rate of opening businesses and lack of quarantine oversight so we see how the State will handle an outbreak with limited medical treatment. This Virus is indiscriminate so everyone including Public, LE or Politicians will need to be careful. No one is immuned. Be safe out there.
