I read the plan and watched a good portion of the press conference, especially the QA. Internally, he wants to focus on rebuilding trust after all the corruption and transparency. In terms of crime, he's focusing on pimps, child trafficking and domestic violence. Nothing about AMPs.

That does not mean AMP will be exempt. Insiders all know and no one think any politician will give free pass ticket for AMPs if any AMP can survive while high cost low return time.

And it is well known many AMP raid sometimes are operated by funds from federal government.

Last winter Sacremento girls got warning but nothing happen (as AMPs here got attention from media, tax, license, suspicious activity) then this week sacrament places are in huge attack. No one knows.

This seems like another goose chase: just like there's no human trafficking in AMPs, I'm skeptical that there are a ton of instances where a family in HI has tons of gambling debt so pimps their daughter out. I would guess that those instances are very rare, but if he can find one or two he can put in the press, he can say "See, we care about women / human trafficking / etc!" and get that good press, just like the last guy would raid an AMP so it looked like he was doing something. Well, at least Alm's attention grab is less likely to screw with consenting adults who agree to do something together.

C. Now if we can just keep the Corona cases down so we don't go back to Tier 1.

A couple of the spas noted in the article are jjimjilbang 24 hour spas. I enjoyed a couple in LA, but found that they didn't compare to the King Spa franchise located in Dallas, Chicago, and New Jersey. Anyone know why there aren't any places like these in Hawaii? I would think they'd be popular (pre-COVID, obviously).

There are a few Korean run places here in Honolulu but they are only open for women. Jade Stone Spa on Kona street used to take guys in through the side door, but they closed a few years ago. Some of the workers moved to the Vietnamese run spa off of a ward avenue side street, but that one has separate facilities for men and women.

The ones here are nothing like king spa on the mainland and is seems that the interest is not high enough to support a operation that large. One of the Korean spas here was up for sale two years ago, and from the sales price and financial data available, it seems that they were barely breaking even if at all.

Probably tiny compared to mainland's, but there is Aloha Sauna & Spa on Kalauokalani Way. Some of Happiness providers frequented here often. Just down the road next to Rock Za.

According to a news report, an "undercover confidential source" contacted the massage parlor owner and asked for massage parlor employment. The massage parlor owner made statements indicating that she allowed her employees to perform sexual services for tips. Undercover investigators confirmed that employees in the owner's massage parlors were offering sexual services to customers. The massage parlor owner was arrested after she went to the Kansas City International Airport, which is in Missouri, to meet the undercover confidential source and transport her across state lines to Kansas to work in one of the owner's Kansas massage parlors.
