HS, thanks for the info. According to West Hawaii Today, January 7, 2016 issue, A USA District Judge gave Apple 6 months in prison. So she's got to be out by now, I would think. After reading several reports of the heart-rending hellish time she went through, and taking into account that no doubt the feds will be keeping an eye on her activities from now on, and no doubt she is well aware of this fact, it occurs to me there's practically no likelihood at all she will ever again resort to trying to make a living as a provider.

But thus far no one has offered an answer. I never had the opportunity to sample her but she sounds legendary with her dedicated followers. She must have been cool and a good personality. Yeah, it's ironic how the gov got your dough. It's like our GET tax.

What ever happened to Apple? The one who got busted for not reporting income and her husband killed himself. I thought I saw she went to jail but she got out by now? For those who may recall, it was the Feds or IRS, who went after her and took her house and all the money she earned, something like 500,000. Was she put in jail in Hawaii or some fed jail? I never tried her but she was a top provider. Just wondering how much time she actually got since Kaneshiro is thinking of ways to get people in our AMP industry. The fool probably can't finish anything and the Feds will step in and make an example of someone.

I wonder how nervous HPD is over this case. Yoyo did say she wanted the same deal as she previously had. I guess it's a lot easier to bribe HPD rather then the FBI. Those officers that have something to hide may worry that she may cooperate with the FBI in exchange for a lighter sentence. Will be interesting.

I feel sorry for Yoyo. Hopefully she can come to a plea agreement.

She was actually in that news interview clip about this specific subject. The captains of the fishing vessel actually hold the crews visas which in turn limits the crew's ability to leave the ship when docked in ports for offloading of their cargo. It's poor working conditions as well as minimal wages which make it seem like "slavery" conditions. Most if not all of these migrant workers voluntarily sign up for this type of work. They are in desperate need to support their families. It's a means to an end just like the AMP workers here choose to be in that profession. Is it their absolute dream job? No, but definitely the quickest most lucrative possible means to an end.
