Another thing. Why don't the gambling houses get raided instead of the AMPs. Is it because the Prosecutor's office is crooked, or gun shy after Kaneshiro's fuck up with the game rooms? Or perhaps someone profited when Tracy Arakawa et al. , had their machines confiscated, and they are still in operation? Just food for thought.

They like to go in in their tactical gear. I mean it is good to be safe, but it isn't like an AMP girl will be yielding a Tec9 or a MP5. It is just intimidation tactics. It seems the raids did not make the news, so they were probably under the guise of "welfare checks". No arrests, but a way of saying "Hello, we are watching". The new tactic seems to be going in the mid morning, instead of evenings when it will be busier. The state should go back to how it was during WW2. Have licensed brothels that have required medical checks for the girls. Govt makes money off the taxes, the madam and girls still make a bunch of money, albeit a little less because it is taxed. However, there would be no worry about getting busted because these transactions will be legal. I'm sure there will be a couple more police actions this weekend.

This legislature act actually contridicts itself by saying the days of Chinese New Years day is not related to culture, but it actually is.
