My friend co-authored that book called "Land & Power in Hawaii", its all about the dirty corruption of the Democratic officials controlling who gets to build infrastructure in Hawaii and the required kickbacks to the established cronies running Hawaii. For an example the corrupt Coleen Hanabusa and her cronies already knew where the Rail stops would be located and already bought properties near and around those Rail stops. Prices were low, but when the Rail was revealed to the public and the City needed to purchase land, guess what? Those lots bought at cheap now is worth over four times the original value! All paid for by you the taxpayers, your money came out of your pocket and into these cronies! FBI is investigating this matter and soon some will face a court date, but only the nickel and dime ones will be prosecuted with the big bosses like Jeremy Harris and Mufi Hanaman gets away.
