If you used a credit card, see if you can deny the payment. If you act quickly, there is a chance to stop it. We've seen this several times in the past, remember, if no phone number is listed, be wary. Don't waste your time and money. Good luck.

I had a similar situation a while back and at first the reps I talked with didn't want to issue a refund. Eventually they did! But here's the catch. I didn't bother checking to make sure that they weren't charging the monthly. Several months later, I discovered that they were. They were small charges, but still. Talk about THEFT! I considered filing a dispute with the CC company, but didn't think it was worth it since I got both charges stopped. These girls that are doing this are total ROBS! I always try to flag their posts but it takes a bunch of people flagging before their posts are removed.

That may be a good point in other situations, but it might be better to absorb the loss and avoid embarrassment than to tell the credit card company that "I lost my money to a web cam ROB."
