That way if I don't like it I just walk out. At most jack shacks, the woman who greets you at the counter will be your masseuse. If you like it, go in. If you don't, or nothing happens, then go to another one.

Don't ever ask for anything. You don't need to. When the lady at the counter asks if you want 30 minutes or 60 minutes, tell her you want 30 minutes (probably $50 for 1/2 hour) take out the wad of $20's and give her sixty.

She's seeing you have $50 left. If you really want to stick to the $40 rule, then bring in $90. For me, $10 means something to these ladies so if I spend an extra $10 to get a little extra then that's fine with me. I didn't go for it myself, out of my price range. She is cute though. There are surely other masseuses who do more but its going to be hard to find for a non-regular and its going to be costly. It's a good time in Savannah to do a little Asian thrill-seeking at the hotels. There are three or four spots that I know of available now. Well reviewed here.
