I can tell you what I know and what my friends who moved there are doing. Pattaya is of course where a lot of the sex tourism is in Thailand, but that's partly because it's about a 30 minute taxi ride from Bangkok too. Similar in many ways to what going to Tijuana is like for people who like me live in San Diego. And you can spend a lot less money just going to TJ if you all you are looking for is unlimited cheap sex.

If you are looking for something more than just that Thailand is a wonderful country in many ways, the people are generally very friendly and since they are almost all Buddhist you'll never hear yelling and shouting.

There are plenty of places in the eastern and northern parts of the country that are also very good and are much better suited for finding a long term GF or a wife. Chiang Mai in the north is the biggest city area, lot of college age women there. I preferred Udon Thani and Khon Kaen for places to retire and find a GF or wife. Lots of professional women there and they tend to love older white fat guys like me so it's perfect in that respect. You don't have to be rich or good looking as long as you have a good heart. That's the most important thing to most of the women you'll meet there outside of the bargirl areas / lifestyle.

You don't really need $2 K a month to live decently there, that really depends more on your drinking habits and whether or not you like Thai food. If you want to eat American it will cost you, but I ate 3 good Thai food meals a day and spent on average $10. I don't drink so I don't have the $3 beer expenses either. You can spend a fortune in the bars with the girls and they'll love you for it, but you can do freelancers who are more of a GFE and will stay as long as you like depending on their schedule. For the bargirls the ST means 3-4 hours, LT means an overnight with the lady of your choosing. You are expected to be a decent guy and buy them food and stuff, but don't get caught in the trap of "visit my friend at her bar", you will end up spending a lot of money buying them all drinks and your time won't be spent doing what you are with her for to begin with.

Use Agoda dot com to search for hotels and condos for rent very cheaply. I found out early over there that the only places which take credit cards are the more expensive touristy hotels, everywhere else cash is king. And the best exchange rates are for very crispy $50 and $100 bills, they don't like $10's and $20's at the exchanges. Someone told me about the app and website when I was there because I didn't know about the whole credit card deal so I set up a profile and was able to link my credit card account to it and got the "insider deals" on hotels. I went all over Thailand for 6 weeks, drove all over the country, had a great time. Never paid more than $26 a night for a hotel after I had the profile setup and I think that was in Phuket, a very touristy area even for Thai people.

As for the Phillipines you can do some things cheaper and they speak more English but I didn't care for the country. Much dirtier and more poverty in Manila and Cebu than I had thought possible. Good for a week or two maybe, but I wouldn't consider retiring there, which was what my original intent for the whole 9 week long trip was about. I'll take Thailand any day over PI, just a better atmosphere and happier nicer people there, and the food is much much better!!

Try the International Sex Guide. It's the companion site to this site. Pretty amazing stuff going on in the rest of the world! That site makes you want to travel like crazy. You do have to pay to post, but reading is absolutely free and there is some great info!

If you find one PM me, I'm seeing some real nice airbnbs in Thailand and the Philippines for less than $20 a day, think I'd go that route instead of a resort. Flights to the Philippines are like 1100 $, 400 $ for 3 ish weeks in an airbnb, under 2 k and you're in country with a place to stay, rest is all play money, another 2 k to blow and you have a great fuckin time.

If I was able to guarantee $2k to $2500 a month in income I'd already be there permanently 🤣. I'm also looking at a vacation in the Philippines for the same purpose.

They don't call that place the Land Of Smiles for no good reason! I met my future ex-wife there several years ago and I loved the country, the food, and the people. But the women are great and I'm going back the beginning of next year for another extended stay, 2-3 months at least. Hell I might retire for good there this trip I don't know. I have several friends who are living in Pattaya and enjoying the lifestyle. One guy is a bar kind of patron and he loves the whole bar girl scene, another friend is all about the independent GF's who will spend the weekend or longer with you for an incredibly low rate from our point of view. A man can live well over there for cheap, both of those guys are within a couple blocks of the beach in condos with all the amenities, including close proximity to the ladies, and their rents / leases are around $300 a month. I would advise anyone who can to take a few weeks and go!! Don't be a cheap Charlie, and have some fun over there, you'll be spoiled for almost any place you can find in the states when you return. Have fun out there!

I started this hobby a couple years ago at most, figured just a handy would be nice since I'm single and no action, now I'm looking into making a trip to Thailand or Central / South America for a "vacation" after I get back from a parlor with a chick sitting on my face dying to eat her box while she gives me the knuckle shuffle.

I sent this to someone a couple of years ago. Still true, especially the last sentence. Seriously. If you have no choice but to give and try it then so be it. But it is highly addicting and you might find yourself doing this regularly 10-20 years from now. More too. Massage parlors are like the Zima of sex. It's a "happy ending" today, two girl motel special at the Red Roof Inn tomorrow.

All you need to do is put $100 cash in your pocket and go to a massage parlor. Leave your wallet and your phone in the car. If it's a new place I just walk in and ask how much the services are. That way if I don't like it I just walk out. At most jack shacks, the woman who greets you at the counter will be your masseuse. If you like it, go in. If you don't, or nothing happens, then go to another one.

Don't ever ask for anything. You don't need to. When the lady at the counter asks if you want 30 minutes or 60 minutes, tell her you want 30 minutes (probably $50 for 1/2 hour) take out the wad of $20's and give her sixty.

She's seeing you have $50 left. If you really want to stick to the $40 rule, then bring in $90. For me, $10 means something to these ladies so if I spend an extra $10 to get a little extra then that's fine with me. Lay down on the table, naked on your stomach, push your balls out the back and make sure they are visible and accessible. She'll probably brush up on them while your on your stomach to feel you out. Maybe she'll ask if it's ok. You are 99.9999% sure to get a handy on the flip. I had a lady spend almost the whole 1/2 hour massaging my balls and on the flip was like "no, we are professional massage. " WTF? I would have preferred nothing at all with that. Sometimes they won't brush up on the boys at all and you think it's not going to happen, but then on the flip they perform. You kind of never know until you know.
