TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) A Tampa Police officer was arrested on Wednesday and charged with solicitation of prostitution.

The Tampa Police Department said Stanley Clerveaux, 25, was off-duty when he allegedly solicited prostitution in the area of Cypress St. And Westshore Blvd. He was arrested by the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office.

A spokesman for Tampa Police said Clerveaux has since been fired. A mugshot for Clerveaux was not available when this article was published.

The Tampa Police Department is expected to provide more information about the arrest later Wednesday afternoon.

And that Polk County is the most dangerous county in the entire state with a sheriff who is the only known offical in the entire county. I remember that day. I drove past and they had 8 cop cars (marked and unmarked) with a Forensic Crime scene truck in the parking lot. Numerous cops in full riot gear and body armor. Was a matter of time. I remember Shay trying to get me to go to a room in that place, about 1-2 weeks prior to the bust.

Video at the stadium appeared to show her leaving voluntarily with one or two males, so the Dallas police refused to open a 'kidnapping' investigation, as she would only be listed as a 'runaway'. The father had to go to a missing children's organization himself, and they quickly found her on listcrawler in Oklahoma City, using facial recognition programs. She appears to be a true case of abduction and trafficking.
