Since they have no evidence of goes inside, nothing. So since late 80's, AMP in Suffolk come and go. No stopping them whether they are illegal immigrants or not. Service has dropped to to cop priority on these places on quality of life (OH cops make 6 figure salary w / o over time after 5 years. So boys, assuming some cops are here, pay off politicians, high end law enforcement officer to know ehrn bust coming, clean up the act, and nada. Whether it is mafia, cops, criminals, politicians, or all of them, people definitely making extra to what we pay therm for as tax payers. WE could easily out that out on the dark web and some forensic accounting. It beat a cop, think like them, and vice versa. It is a game of corruption, but we all turn a blind eye. WINTER HAVEN, Fla. The Polk County Sheriff's Office nabbed 124 people in what's being described as a six-day undercover investigation to combat prostitution, human trafficking and child sex predators.

Dubbed "Operation Santa's Naughty List," the people arrested face everything from prostitution charges and drug counts to accusations of trying to meet children for sex.

The sheriff's office worked with the State Attorney's Office, local police and anti-human trafficking groups as part of the sting operation.

"The primary purpose for these operations is to identify victims of human trafficking and those who prey on the victims, as well as the deviant child predators who stalk children online," Sheriff Grady Judd wrote in an email.

Law enforcement said they used online ads to arrange meetings between undercover detectives and people accused of crimes. The undercover location was in Polk County.

Detectives say there were seven women who came to the undercover location to "commit prostitution. " However, the sheriff's office said these woman may have been trafficked.

Two of the women were taken to shelters and connected with anti-trafficking support and resources. The sheriff's office said each person accused of prostitution was given immediate access to anti-trafficking organizations.

Five men were accused of traveling to the location to sexually harm a child. Two other men who did not go to the location were arrested after detectives say they solicited who they thought were children online.

In total, 53 people were charged with prostitution, 46 were accused of seeking the services of a prostitute and seven men were accused of preying on children.

On the bottom right. It was mention that Super Bowl is coming here in two years. Do local politicans think that this will be wiped out, LOL. To my knowledge, there are 4 -6 strip clubs within walking distance from Raymond James stadium. They don't realize that either dancers will either perform sexualk acts in the clubs or somewhere else. Yes, SW is the eye sore, but Seminole Heights is not a place to visit and never see it in the top 10 of vacation destinations. This is another city doing the the song and dance for money in the long haul. Yawn.

I do recognize Kitty, who I think was out of North Pinellas county for the most part. Her arrest is showing up as being from July. Since the investigation spanned six months, that would put July in that time frame.

This seems to be 6 months worth of arrests and they are now showcasing the total, strictly for effect. In reality, for those of us who see any of these girls, this seems like it might be old news.

104 people arrested between June and November in connection with prostitution.

Hillsborough Sheriff Chad Chronister: "Human trafficking will not be tolerated".

"The sheriff said 76 of the people arrested were men trying to buy sex with women and unde* girls. " Just lumped a bunch of men together with possibly a handful of predators if even that many. I hate this dishonest type of reporting. Give real numbers if you're going to report on it.

In regards to human trafficking, 1 out of 104 people they arrested was one guy who is a "suspected" gang member who is "accused" of trafficking women out of a local motel. So this reads to me like 5 months were wasted without one single human trafficking conviction.

What an abysmal failure in stopping human trafficking and utter waste of tax dollars. If after 5 months you can't find one single case of human trafficking there must not be much of it going on in this county. No doubt the crusade will continue and with the same absent results though.

"I strongly believe that in order to eradicate human trafficking we must continue to focus on reducing the demand. " What amazing BS! Reduce the demand for sex?? That will always be there. I just think the cops would rather deal with johns, who are scared, embarrassed and not likely to be violent, than with the pimps that provide the "supply". And at the bottom of everything is the drug industry, that controls the supply and keeps them working. Hey, "human trafficking" is the new way of saying prostitution, which has been around forever, and will never go away. Keeping prostitution illegal gives the cops something to do (6 month investigations), but also clogs up the court system. Let's figure out a better way.

Yeah, how about they do something about the horrible drugs that take hold of so many of these girls. Let's be realistic. They don't care at all about the girls or human trafficking. It's all about looking good on news reports. Which in the end accomplishes nothing.
