Headed through from SWFLA Next week, always had great luck at Gulf Gate, been about a year since last visit, still a good spot, any additional intel appreciated or PM's thanks Rip.

I stopped in this morning. Standard AMP experience. Massage with teasing and HE. Nothing spectacular but I might repeat in a pinch.

Went yesterday the attendant is Chinese not Japanese. The best massage I can remember ever having. There were not extras offered.

Well it would certainly be good news to have a high quality AMP back in the area. Dragging one's backside to Tampa would seem to be a pain, although I have been assured by an impeccable source that there are a number of AMP's up there staffed by drop dead gorgeous women.

I agree with the good Dr that a few more reviews would be helpful in determining if we once again have such a high quality venue. Sun and Star used to fill that need, but if you read my review of Sun, it is no longer a place I can recommend, and Star on 26th varies in quality, but certainly does not measure up to the Tampa places such as Han River.

So, I will be watching with great interest the evaluations our jolly group mongers write about Moka. Gentlemen, start your engines!

I also haven't seen any earlier reports on Moka Spa, but Google Maps Street View actually drives through the strip mall in which the spa is located, so you can do a virtual drive-by the front door and see the neighboring storefronts, etc. This report makes it sound like the place may be way better than most of the places in Sarasota area, but it's only one report, so it would be nice to see a couple more guys report on their findings. One follow-up question I would have is the tip rate. Weasel says the Japanese lady costs a little more (than scabby escorts, I guess) and then says she has reasonable rates, so I'm not sure where to guess the tip rate expectation would fall. The $70 house fee, per hour, is on the lower end, so I might guess a tip expectation could be between $120 to $130, but not more, but that's only a wild guess. I would hate to lay out more than is necessary and end up driving the price up for everybody by setting the girls expectations based on over-tipping. If anyone has any data to report on that matter, it would be helpful here.

Well, I got a curiosity attack today.

Maybe Sun might be better than we've been led to believe.

It's true what they say about curiosity. And while it didn't kill me, it dented me pretty well. Gentlemen, I cannot recommend Sun, not one little bit. The provider was beyond her "sell by" date by many years. I didn't think anyone could screw up a TS. I was wrong. She did a fairly good massage, but none of the playfulness most of us value when visiting an AMP. When I reached for her, she pulled away to a position beyond reach.

Sun's owners have got to learn that they need to provide a much younger and enthusiastic staff if they expect to continue. As for me. I can pretty well guarantee I won't be returning. Ever. I have also exhausted any inclination to TOFT in the future.

Heed Mr. Bill! Go to Tampa.

They had a gal there named Sharon who was in the same league, but she seems to have disappeared. Some of the other talent was "beyond sell date" and not very good at all. To be completely fair, Hannah and Amy set the bar pretty high.

Sandy is still there and still fun, but if you're looking for young drop dead gorgeous spinners, this is not the place. As a matter of fact, to find stunningly beautiful gals, it requires a trip to Tampa, and the rates are a bit higher.

You might want to try Star on 26th. Usually a pretty reliable place, although they seem to be a bit nervous because of the recent noise being made by one of the Manatee County political hacks, about "cleaning up" AMP's in the area. If you've been around for awhile, you've seen politicians engage in this bluster and baloney before, and we'll no doubt see it again. Even the concerted effort in Tampa on Kennedy Blvd. Has faded to nothing, and the AMP's are back doing their thing.

Right now, if I were to characterize the AMP talent situation in this area, the word bleak comes to mind. We're not seeing many Massage posts here and I suspect its because there's damn little to post.

If I owned Star, I would worry. They stick out at that general area, which is diverse in zoning. It doesn't help that churches and a school is near.
