Okay, after following the excellent coordinates provided below, I ventured to visit the "apple" on West 40 this afternoon while visiting Ocala on family-business. There were plenty of locals hanging in the parking lot, and next door at the car wash, but the street located directly behind these buildings proved to be devoid of ANY talent. Street, there was NOTHING to be had. On my way back out to 40, I spotted a WSW walking east on the south-side of 40 who I wouldn't have touched on my worst night... Even after the bars closed! She was filthy head-to-toe, wearing a long sleeve tee shirt and ratty jean-skirt which showed her less than clean (very dark tanned) legs. As I drove by her we nodded at each other and that's as far as it went.

I continued east on 40 until I reached Pine Street. At the corner I spotted two WSWs heading into the Fina Mart. I pulled in and followed them inside. Once eye-contact was established, I noted much of the same appearance from both. The older one had short hair, dark complexion from being in the sun A LOT, and the younger, spinner-type had wavy, long brown hair. Neighter was appealing to me (although a noticeable improvement over the one near the rotten apple) so I chalked up my experience to that of being in the right places, but perhaps at the wrong time.

Any advice on where and when a monger should recon this area in the future?

Sherry is an old friend. I used to see her years and years ago (circa 2005) but she dropped off the radar. Fortunately she resurfaced last night. First thanks Mr P for your intel here. I contacted Melissa through PM. Took a little bit to hear back. Her digits sat idle for a couple of weeks until the recent desire for relief. Easy to talk to. Since I heard about the Apple I have checked there about a dozen times in the last few weeks. Saw a black girl a couple days ago who waved at me, too many locals around though. There is / was an eatery called The Big Apple but that ain't the Big Apple I'm talking about. This Big Apple is a shit hole of a grocery / convenience store on the north side of west Hwy 40. To the east there is the Ghost House car wash and to the west there is the Looking Good Beauty Supply Store. Behind it you will find all sorts of poontang for sale. See attached photo. I got it from google maps.
